Responsibilities: - Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities - Provide support and guidance to students in their learning and development - Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment - Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies - Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback - Support students with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs) - Assist with the preparation and organization of materials for lessons and activities - Foster a love for learning by engaging students in educational games and activities - Promote literacy education by reading to students and helping them develop reading skills - Assist with curriculum development and implementation Qualifications: - Experience working with students, preferably in an educational setting - Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Proficiency in math concepts and ability to assist students with math skills - Familiarity with daycare or child welfare regulations and best practices - Ability to educate and engage students of diverse backgrounds and abilities - Effective classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment - Experience in curriculum development or lesson planning is a plus This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about working with children and supporting their educational journey.
