MIMIMUM SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
1. Must have attained one of the following qualification levels:
A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate.
A minimum of an 8th grade education and enrollment in training curriculum. The classroom training portion of the curriculum shall be completed. Documentation of completion of classroom training and continuing enrollment in the training curriculum shall be included in the staff person's file.
A minimum of an 8th grade education and 2 years of experience with children.
2. Ability to organize, prioritize, and communicate appropriately.

4. Emotional and mental ability to perform effectively and efficiently under stressful and emergency situations.

Experience/Education Requirement:

Experience: Minimum of two years of experience working in an early childhood setting. Experience supporting curriculum development and classroom management strongly preferred.
Obtain and maintain current clearances (PA Child Abuse, Criminal Background, FBI Fingerprint).
Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Completion of mandated reporter training.
