This is a full-time, year-round position with an hourly range of $17.10 - $24.98 per hour commensurate with experience and education. Please note the hourly range for Teacher Assistants is $17.10-20.46 and the hourly range for Teachers is $20.58-24.98. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Preschool Teacher position is a year-round key position at the Early Education Center. Preschool Teachers are responsible for educating, supervising, and caring for the children at the EEC. The teacher will implement by instruction and action the center's philosophy of education and instructional goals and objectives. The preschool teacher provides effective instructional techniques for all students in the classroom. WAGE:
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resorts hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Teachers have responsibilities and requirements, including but not limited to:

Satisfactory experience includes being a licensee of a Colorado Family Child Care Home, a Teacher's Aide or Teacher in a childcare center, preschool, or elementary school. In addition, the individual must either:
Possess a current Early Childhood Professional Credential Level I or higher in Versions as determined by the Department; or,
Complete two (2) three (3) semester credit hour courses from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education with (1) course as either:
Introduction To Early Childhood Professions or has been issued the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential; Or, Early Childhood Guidance Strategies for Children or has been issued a Colorado Pyramid Model Training certificate of completion.
All course grades used for the Early Childhood Teacher requirements must be a "C" or better.
