Collects facility and equipment utilization data as well as participant evaluation data. Implements quality assurance/improvement activities within the Standardized Patient unit and assists with QA/QI for the entire simulation center. Assists with Assistant Director, Medical Education Standardized Patient Simulation with quality assurance/improvement activities within the Standardized Patient Simulation unit with with QA/QI for the entire simulation center. Assists with recruitment and screening of standardized patients and assists with SP orientations and delivery of yearly SP performance feedback. Under supervision, conducts student post-simulation debriefing and simulation-based teaching as needed. Maintains proficiency with a specialized range of AV systems and IT equipment (i.e. CAW Learning Space). Configures, operates and troubleshoots A/IT equipment, as needed. Safeguards privacy and security of simulation terminology, procedures and best practices. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of simulation terminology, procedures and best practices. Maintains knowledge of and compliance with institution and industry policies, standards/best practices and regulations, particularly SSIH accreditation standards. Assists with ensuring adequate security and levels of consumables and equipment are maintained. Maintains documents and records in support of simulation center operations. Ensures that center policies and procedures are followed by all employees and users. Completes other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director. Regular and prompt attendance. Ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required. Related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama and one year of related professional experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience maybe considered.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, Collaborative Education, or a related field.
• 1 year of full-time verifiable experience working with young children in a classroom setting.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet DHR License-Exempt hiring requirements.
• Valid Alabama Teaching Certificate in one of the above fields (Teacher II level requirement).

In this position, you will provide specialized instruction and communication support tailored to each student's individual needs. Your work will help foster independence, confidence, and meaningful engagement in the classroom.
In this role, you will develop, implement, and oversee Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while providing direct instruction through appropriate communication methods and accommodations tailored to each student's needs. You will adapt curriculum and instructional materials to ensure accessibility, conduct assessments, and monitor student progress to guide effective instructional planning. You will also support clear and meaningful communication among students, families, and school teams, while offering consultation and training to educators and staff to strengthen services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
RequirementsQualified candidates should hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Deaf Education or a related field and possess a valid Alabama Professional Educator Certificate with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement, or be eligible to obtain one. Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is strongly preferred, along with demonstrated strengths in collaboration, communication, and instructional planning.

Position overview:
Plan, conduct and coordinate all aspects of MRA process evaluation and education to internal and external partners, including but not limited to:
Communicating a comprehensive understanding of Medicare Risk Adjustment, Documentation & Coding guidelines to both external/internal partners while ensuring compliance with regulatory.
Analyze reports to identify and report documentation/coding trends in order to create opportunities for improvement with internal and external partners.
Ensure provider documentation and diagnostic code selections are appropriate and recommend improvements as necessary, including system-view recommendations based on EMR scope
Continually assess the knowledge and appropriate application of ICD-10 documentation and coding guidelines
Leverage reporting benchmarks and MRA success measures to prioritize efforts
Demonstrate a professional and effective face to face communication style and address issues as they arise
Act promptly in routine situations while building productive relationships and establish rapport.
Guide business and leadership in process improvement
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to function autonomously and problem solve complex issues
Skills/Qualifications
5 years of strong Risk Adjustment coding experience and understanding of Value Based Medicine

We are currently seeking part-time teacher-tutors for a role in our learning center at GradePower Learning Pelham. This position is perfect for anyone who loves working with students, enjoys teaching the ins and outs of language, math, among other subjects, and is passionate about helping others build their skills in these areas.
Teacher-Tutors at GradePower Learning do not have to lesson plan before class, as all lessons are pre-planned. Applicants will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods.
Position Requirements:
Teacher-Tutors at GradePower Learning work during after-school and evening hours Monday - Thursday (3:30pm - 7:30pm), usually 2-3 days weekly, totalling 4-12 hours per week. A commitment until at least the end of the school year is preferred. Continuing through the summer is even better. Your students will love working with you, and being reliable is a must.
This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. Relocation packages are not available. This is not an online position.

Education:
Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
Teaching certification an asset
