Position Overview:
We are currently hiring Summer Camp Instructors who are also interested in staying on through the school year as STEAM Teachers and/or Robotics Coaches for our FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams. Instructors will lead camps and classes throughout the summer, with the opportunity to coach one of our robotics teams starting this fall.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead groups of up to 16 students through engaging, curriculum-based STEAM activities.
Promote creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving while introducing students to STEAM concepts.
Follow Snapology's provided lesson plans and materials-no prep needed!
Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive, inclusive environment.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and Snapology leadership.
Transport, clean, and manage program materials.
Participate in team training and meetings (training provided in Bedford, TX).
Represent Snapology professionally at events, camps, and classes.
Who We're Looking For:
Passion for working with children ages 4-14.
Classroom or camp experience (2+ years preferred).
Degree or progress toward a degree in Education or a related field is a plus.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Reliable, punctual, and organized.
Experience working with neurodiverse students is a bonus.
Must pass background and child clearances.
Summer 2025 Camp Details:
Locations: Southlake, Keller, Grapevine, Colleyville, Hurst/Bedford/Euless, Arlington
Schedules Available:
Half-Day Camps: 9 AM-12 PM or 1 PM-4 PM (M-Th or M-F)
Full-Day Camps: 9 AM-3 PM or 9 AM-4 PM (M-F)
Drop-in Classes, Events, and Parties available as additional hours
Part-Time or Full-Time hours available (5-35 hrs/week based on your availability)
Camp materials are picked up and returned weekly at a central location in Southlake.
School-Year Opportunities (Starting Fall 2025):
Stay on with us after summer to teach classes, workshops, and school break camps and/or coach one of our FLL Robotics Teams!

Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
* Minimum of a bachelor's degree.

* Based on assessment data, write measurable Individual Educational Program (IEP) goals and objectives for students eligible for special education.
* Participate in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee Meeting to determine the appropriate program for students eligible for special education.
* Follow the student's IEP or Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) as determined by the ARD Committee.
* Provide Braille instruction to students with visual impairment.
* Convert instructional materials to Braille.
* Analyze student data to determine appropriate interventions.
* Monitor student progress on IEP goals and objectives by data collection and/or evaluation.
* Work with other staff members to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods according to district requirements.
* Evaluate student performance on a regular basis, through formal and informal testing, and provide progress reports as required, every 9 weeks.
