    Job DescriptionSalary: $16 Responsible for providing daily classroom activities designed to provide children with a wide variety of developmental experiences. Duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following: Specific Job Duties Implement comprehensive curriculum plans with activities appropriate to the age and ability level of the group. Maintain compliance with all NC Day Care licensing regulations (ITERS/ECERS), sanitation requirements, Head Start Performance Standards, DPI standards, NCPK regulations, CACFP regulations, and BRCA policies. Observe, document and report to supervisor significant behavior changes and health needs. Maintain confidentiality of childrens and parents needs, progress, and records. Maintain daily attendance, accurately noting reasons for absences. Provide a developmentally appropriate environment with positive teacher/child interaction. Keep anecdotal notes and/or weekly input of anecdotal notes in CC Net. Complete training as specified by the agency. Maintain open and positive communication with parents. Participate in IEP/IFSP meetings, provide appropriate activities and implement IEP/IFSP goals and objectives for children with diagnosed disabilities. Complete monthly activity plans as required. Compute daily point of service records. Complete screenings as required. Complete an educational assessment on each child within 45 days of enrollment.
