A caring and enthusiastic Teacher I that is the supporting role of the Assistant Teacher to work with children 2-5 years old. Essential Job Duties
Provide care for children, such as setting schedules and routines, grooming, feeding, toilet training, changing diapers, and cleaning rooms and toys.
Develop and encourage age-appropriate learning and socialization to ensure children learn.
Maintain a safe workplace by monitoring children for health, behavioral, and emotional issues and reporting concerns to staff and parents.
Develop lesson plans and themes according to the guidelines set out in the Creative Curriculum.
Complete all annual training for SVH and required training for KDHE and additional training that support developmentally appropriate practice and best practices.
Communicate with parents and other teachers regarding feeding, medications, and other critical concerns.
Complies with all policies, standards, mandatory training and requirements of Stormont Vail Health
