ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities. Provide classroom coverage during staff absences, breaks, or planning time. Support teachers with daily routines such as meals, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions. Adapt quickly to different classrooms and age groups (6 weeks to 5-year-olds). Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations. Assist with classroom organization, cleaning, and preparation of materials as needed. Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and staff. Communicate effectively with assistant teachers, teachers and directors to understand daily needs.
