Under direction of classroom teachers, assist and instruct pupils in a combination of academic, social, behavioral, and other related skill areas; assist in the planning, developing, organizing, and delivery of a comprehensive Christian education program for students; assist students, staff, teachers, and other staff members in aiding pupils in adjusting to a structured Christian educational environment; perform other related functions as required (i.e. substitute teaching as directed). Assist the teacher in planning, creating, and maintaining an effective learning environment through the utilization of functional and aesthetically attractive displays, exhibits, bulletin boards, interest, learning, and activity centers. Assist in the establishment and maintenance of a suitable room environment through the proper control of heating, lighting, and ventilation.
