The Behavioral Health Clinician II is an licensed independent provider who performs diagnostic psychosocial evaluations, develops care plan with clients and their families, offers individual, family, or group therapy as appropriate, collaborated with psychiatric and/or medical providers who are part of the client's care team, and documents all clinical interventions in accordance with CHC policy, Joint Commission standards, and state regulatory expectations. + Completes initial behavioral health evaluations; individual, group and family psychotherapy with children and/or adults in an outpatient clinic. Will be expected to run at least five (5) groups for each week of direct clinical work.
+ Practices as part of an interdisciplinary, inter-professional team, accepting "warm hand offs" from primary care providers and other members of the health care team as well as reaching in to the patient population to identify patients potentially in need of behavioral health services as flagged by the BH clinical dashboard.
+ Consults with providers within and outside the agency regarding the treatment plan and progress of the patients.
+ Shares in the Behavioral Health On-Call for after-hours coverage and daily clinic call.
+ Coordinates as needed with psychiatric consultants for diagnostic and consultative needs; refers as necessary for medication management.
+ Attends clinical Team Meetings as assigned and Component Meetings
+ Clinically supervises unlicensed Behavioral Health staff as assigned

The Apprentice Teacher Training Program at New Canaan Country School provides "on the job" training for individuals interested in becoming elementary and middle school teachers. For those interested in sports, apprentices have opportunities to coach in the school's interscholastic athletic program. General role:
Under the direction of the Teacher I and the Education Coordinator promotes the theories and principles of child growth and development, early childhood education, and family support. Puts into practice theories and sound principles of child education.
Responsibilities:
Supervise a group of children independently under the direction of the Education/Disability Coordinator implementing and complying with the education program standards and coordinating all components of the program as they apply to her/his classroom.
Education / Experience / Requirements:
Preferred: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development from an accredited institution.
Accepted: Pre-School CDA OR Associate's Degree in a related field with 6 credit bearing courses relevant to competencies in early childhood education AND experience working with young children.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Hebrew teacher to join our High School Hebrew Team, teaching grades 9-12 for the coming school year at our Upper School, located in Hartsdale, New York. The ideal candidate understands students and their needs and is a collaborative colleague who is capable of creating dynamic and active lessons that engage students in content while teaching critical skills related to the four strands of language acquisition: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. He or she will have mastery in multiple approaches to Hebrew instruction and teach students at different levels of fluency across all four grades of high school. In addition to teaching Hebrew in the classroom, this colleague will model the use of Hebrew in the hallways and throughout the school, while promoting Israeli culture and building strong relationships with students.
Qualifications: At least two to three years of experience teaching Hebrew in a formal classroom setting is required, ideally at the high school level. Experience with the Bishvil HaIvritcurriculum is a bonus. A master's degree in education is preferred. The ability to support and teach students who learn language with difficulty would be highly welcomed but is not required.
