The English Department at Albuquerque Academy seeks an enthusiastic and energetic middle and upper school teacher. Essential Functions
Design thoughtful lessons and activities for four sections of English. Teaching assignments may vary from year to year.

High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in education or child development preferred.
Experience working with school-age children in a childcare, afterschool, or educational setting preferred.
Ability to manage a group of children with patience, consistency, and positive guidance.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Must meet all state childcare licensing requirements, including background checks.
