    Clayton Center proudly provides outpatient treatment to children, adolescents, and adults. At the outpatient centers, we promote overall health and quality of life for individuals, youth and families through evidenced-based therapies and medication management to reduce the impact of mental illness, behavior challenges, and substance use. Under supervision, learns to perform psychosocial assessments, treatment planning/monitoring and discharge planning. Provides counseling/therapy to clients requiring complex intervention. Performs commitment determinations and/or executes orders of involuntary commitments. Duties & Responsibilities: * Provides biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessments on new, existing clients and/or hospital discharges for those experiencing behavioral health disorders (MH and SUD) * Conducts and assists with Crisis Interventions, executing 1013/2013s and collaborating with local hospitals for placement. * Work with clients to develop SMART and recovery-based treatment plans. * Provide short-term individual and group therapy using evidence-based therapies for clients with SPMI &/or SUD * Assist clients in identifying, developing, and sustaining natural support systems. * Provide psychoeducation to clients and families around mental health, substance use, trauma, recovery. * Collaborate with other behavioral health and physical health providers to holistically address client needs. * Complete all required documentation (daily clinical notes, assessments, treatment plans) in an accurate and timely manner (agency standard 24 hrs.) * Participate in regular team meetings to collaborate regarding shared clients, build and practice new skills, and stay up to date on agency administrative information. * Participate in clinical supervision to increase competence and professional development. * Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hour coverage, via phone. * Completes annual training requirements as outlined by agency and/or supervisor. * Performs other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor. * Other related duties as assigned.
