The Georgia National Guard's Air Dominance Center (ADC), located at the Savannah Combat Training Readiness Center, provides combat aircraft units from across the Department of Defense an environment whereby participants, in a fully integrated, cross-domain, joint concept, can train to exploit the unique characteristics of air, space, maritime, and cyberspace to deliver dominance across a vast range of operational environments. Large force exercises, hosted at least quarterly at the ADC, bring dozens of aircraft and hundreds of military personnel from across the country for temporary assignment in Savannah's International Airport to train in vast instrumented airspace, benefit from advanced Air Combat Training Systems and facilities, and live in the comfortable surroundings provided at the training center weeks at a time. Because of its modern conferencing space, lodging, and dining capabilities, the ADC also plays host to multiple national level meetings hosting hundreds of attendees. Supported by a conglomeration of full and part time Air National Guardsmen, federal contractors, and state employees, the ADC has been recognized as the premier fighter integration training center in the country as well as a preferred conferencing location for the Department of Defense and other state and federal agencies.
The ADC is looking for a customer-focused, detail-oriented Billeting Assistant to directly contribute to the quality of ADC facilities to include housing, classrooms, fitness center and offices and the equipment therein.
Typical responsibilities of a Billeting Assistant include:
Ensuring quality facilities by performing weekly spot checks of accommodations, resolving complaints as able and monitoring inventory levels;
Ensuring quality customer service by monitoring check-in procedures, reviewing guest surveys and responding to customer inquiries;
Assisting with housekeeping activities and overall upkeep of the billeting facilities as required.
Strong teamwork skills, knowledge of military protocol, computer skills, the ability to multitask and work well under pressure are essential to success in this position.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The purpose of the Georgia Youth Challenge Program (GaYCP) is to provide education, leadership, character development, and life-coping skills to Georgia's youth so they may become successful members of society. The voluntary program targets 16-18 year old youth who are at-risk of not completing high school. The GaYCP seeks to provide a new environment for youth so that they can focus on completing their academic goals while also enhancing their personal strengths and resiliency.
The GaYCP mirrors a U.S. Army basic training environment. The military structure of the program provides a structured environment and teaches discipline, self-control, and motivation. In addition, the program develops the whole person by focusing on 8 core components that supports each cadet's personal development: academic excellence, life coping skills, job skills training, responsible citizenship, leader/followership, health and hygiene, physical fitness, and service to community.
All GaYCP staff serve as mentors and role models for the cadets, demonstrating what "right looks like." Academy staff work together to provide the structure, academic, social-emotional, and supervisory support needed by cadets during the 22-week residential phase.
During the 12-month Post-Residential Phase, most GaYCP graduates continue their post-secondary school education, vocational-technical training, full-time employment, military enlistment, or some combination of these. With academies at Fort Stewart in Hinesville and Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia's Youth Challenge Program has graduated over 19,000 cadets since the program's inception in 1993.
SPECIFIC DUTIES OF A YOUTH LEADER / CADRE WORKER:
Supervises and trains youth in a quasi-military style program of physical training, character development, and general education. Assists in the monitoring, training, disciplining, and supervision of cadets. Provides a safe and clean environment, security, non-professional counseling services, and on-site crisis intervention. Documents student progress and encourages cadets in order to enhance motivation.

The GaYCP mirrors a U.S. Army basic training environment. The military structure of the program provides a structured environment and teaches discipline, self-control, and motivation. In addition, the program develops the whole person by focusing on 8 core components that supports each cadet's personal development: academic excellence, life coping skills, job skills training, responsible citizenship, leader/followership, health and hygiene, physical fitness, and service to community.
All GaYCP staff serve as mentors and role models for the cadets, demonstrating what "right looks like." Academy staff work together to provide the structure, academic, social-emotional, and supervisory support needed by cadets during the 22-week residential phase.
During the 12-month Post-Residential Phase, most GaYCP graduates continue their post-secondary school education, vocational-technical training, full-time employment, military enlistment, or some combination of these. With academies at Fort Stewart in Hinesville and Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia's Youth Challenge Program has graduated over 20,000 cadets since the program's inception in 1993.
SPECIFIC DUTIES OF THE COMMANDANT:
* Serves as the Commandant of the Fort Stewart Youth Challenge Academy (FSYCA). Works under the supervision of the Director of the FSYCA. Responsible for the accountability, supervision, health, welfare and safety of assigned cadets and cadre staff.

The purpose of the Georgia Youth Challenge Program (GaYCP) is to provide education, leadership, character development, and life-coping skills to Georgia's youth so they may become successful members of society. The voluntary program targets 16-18 year old youth who are at-risk of not completing high school. The GaYCP seeks to provide a new environment for youth so that they can focus on completing their academic goals while also enhancing their personal strengths and resiliency.
The GaYCP mirrors a U.S. Army basic training environment. The military structure of the program provides a structured environment and teaches discipline, self-control, and motivation. In addition, the program develops the whole person by focusing on 8 core components that supports each cadet's personal development: academic excellence, life coping skills, job skills training, responsible citizenship, leader/followership, health and hygiene, physical fitness, and service to community.
All GaYCP staff serve as mentors and role models for the cadets, demonstrating what "right looks like." Academy staff work together to provide the structure, academic, social-emotional, and supervisory support needed by cadets during the 22-week residential phase.
During the 12-month Post-Residential Phase, most GaYCP graduates continue their post-secondary school education, vocational-technical training, full-time employment, military enlistment, or some combination of these. With academies at Fort Stewart in Hinesville and Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia's Youth Challenge Program has graduated over 20,000 cadets since the program's inception in 1993.
SPECIFIC DUTIES OF THE YCA DEPUTY DIRECTOR:
* Assists the Director with the overall operation of the YCA Ft. Stewart campus, serving as the Executive Officer/Chief of Staff;
* Directly responsible for the supervision of various program aspects, such as the Education, Counseling, Post-Residential, IT, and through subordinate supervisors;
