PAY: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt SCHEDULE: 10 months (aligned to district calendar) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Applicants should possess motivation and creativity, demonstrate a positive demonstration of strong interpersonal communication skills, be active in working within a team, and consistently demonstrate punctuality and attendance. Assist the Lead Teacher with the classroom's appearance, décor, and learning environment. Assist in establishing and maintaining an environment for children that is clean, safe, stimulating, and appropriate for each child's developmental level. Assume an equal share of the staff's housekeeping responsibilities. Meet and maintain licensing requirements for the ratio. Assume the role of leadership in the absence of the Lead Teacher. Interact with the children using developmentally appropriate practices.
