Role Description:
We are currently seeking a Quality Supervisor (HU Control Supervisor) for our facility located out of Vandalia, Ohio. We are looking for experienced, detailed-oriented, forward thinking, and highly motivated candidates to serve as a leader amongst the department. These individuals will report directly to HU Control at the Corporate headquarters and will not be absorbed into normal freight movement. They will work closely with other HU Control Hub Quality individuals as well as HU Control at the Corporate Office to produce a quality product for the movement of all freight in and out of the location.
Shift:
2:00p.m. - 12:00a.m. Monday - Friday.
Salary Range:
$60,000 - $75,000 + up to 10% in bonuses
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
3-plus years of experience in LTL, distribution/logistics, transportation, operations management or knowledge of LTL freight movement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of HU Control functions
Knowledge of computer systems and handheld scanning technology
Willingness to work off shifts
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Proper investigation on reported overages, shortages and damages involving the terminal
Prevention and recuperation of customer goods due to damages
Overseeing and enforcing outbound load quality
Providing disciplinary action for load quality from other terminals
Taking inventory of load bars and other tools that are used to secure the freight
Daily, weekly and monthly reporting on all OS&D findings

Quality Control Site Representative Overview:
The Quality Control Site Representative provides on-site oversight of Maintenance Repair Organizations (MROs) to ensure all maintenance work is carried out in full compliance with Sun Country Airlines' General Maintenance Manual (GMM), FAA regulations, and internal quality standards. This role ensures proper documentation, quality practices, and regulatory reporting are maintained during all phases of aircraft maintenance, with a strong focus on structural integrity, aging aircraft programs, and data traceability.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide quality assurance oversight of all contracted MRO maintenance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and Sun Country Airlines (SCA) quality requirements.
Perform pre-dock, in-progress, and post-dock inspections to verify maintenance work is completed in accordance with SCA GMM, FAA regulations, and applicable engineering data.
Monitor execution of Aging Aircraft Inspection programs, including CPCP (Corrosion Prevention and Control Program), SSID (Supplemental Structural Inspection Documents), and AD compliance; ensure findings are documented and addressed per regulatory requirements.
Ensure accurate identification, documentation, and tracking of structural repairs using SCM Form 151, and verify proper engineering review and approval processes are followed.
Review, prepare, and submit Service Difficulty Reports (SDRs) for applicable discrepancies or reportable events, in coordination with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams.
Validate all maintenance sign-offs, logbook entries, and technical records for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
Act as a liaison between MRO providers and SCA Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance Control teams, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution.
Perform receiving inspections of aircraft parts and materials at the MRO site, ensuring traceability and airworthiness documentation meets regulatory standards.
Identify and report non-conformances, ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented, and support continuous improvement efforts.
Conduct on-site audits and surveillance of MRO operations to assess adherence to Sun Country procedures and FAA Part 121 maintenance requirements.
Assist MRO staff in interpreting technical data and ensure tasks are performed using approved and current documentation (AMM, SRM, CMM, IPC, etc.).
Support regulatory submissions and internal reporting such as corrosion reports, structural damage assessments, and SDRs.
Ensure timely communication and updates via TRAX and other systems, providing real-time visibility into maintenance progress and compliance.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely availability of parts, tooling, and data to maintain schedule without compromising quality.
Promote a culture of compliance and safety, ensuring all work is carried out per FAA regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety practices.
Perform other quality-related duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
High School Diploma or equivalent
3-5 years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance or Quality Control, preferably in a Part 121 environment
Working knowledge of structural repair documentation, aging aircraft inspection programs, and FAA reporting requirements
Excellent attention to detail with strong documentation and communication skills
Familiarity with aircraft technical publications and maintenance tracking systems
Willingness to travel, including international sites as needed
Ability to obtain an MSP SIDA badge
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in aviation maintenance, Quality, or related technical field
Previous hands-on experience with Boeing 737 NG aircraft maintenance and inspection
Experience working with TRAX, SCM Form 151, and FAA SDR submission portals
Knowledge of aging aircraft programs such as CPCP and SSID

Job Purpose

* Excellent verbal communication, problem solving ability, knowledge of quality assurance tools and techniques, clear & concise report writing, strong software and analysis skills.
Working Conditions

Purpose of Position
The purpose of the Quality Control Parts Specialist will be primarily to ensure that the record keeping and reporting requirements of 14 CFR 135.439 (a)(2) are met or exceeded. The QC Parts Specialist will conform engines and APUs into the fleet and process the off-wing engine/APU work orders. This team member will audit RTS and act as a formal resource for multiple departments to actively identify and mitigate part tracking issues in order to support the goal of leading our industry in safety and compliance practices and standards.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Audit all regulatory part transactions in the electronic maintenance tracking system and maintain reports that facilitate the audit process. Ensure that time tracked parts are tracking correctly according to the proper documentation and the approved maintenance programs. Provide specialized technical guidance to those entering information into our tracking system through formal training sessions and direct instruction emails.
* Review maintenance work records for off-wing engine maintenance. Ensure that maintenance records/log entries meet 14 CFR 135 and General Maintenance Manual requirements. Ensure that inspections, ADs, SBs and time-tracked parts are accurately entered into the electronic maintenance tracking system and the system is tracking items correctly.
* Review and approve parts created in the maintenance tracking system by RTS and MCC to ensure that part eligibility, applicability, and interchangeability are set up correctly. Coordinate with the Configuration department to identify and solve complex tracking issues and distribute a process solution to improve group efficiency.
* Perform audit of all regulatory parts installed on new Conformity Aircraft. Audit new or revised Maintenix programs to ensure Netjets parts tracking system mirrors chapter 4 and chapter 5 limits. Work with IFS to ensure functionality of all Maintenix revisions and patches before going "live".
* Has specialized technical expertise in the purpose and performance of Maintenix and acts as a lead for all departments concerning part installation, removal, usage and life limit. Identifies common part tracking hazards and provides official guidance to proactively reduce errors. Collaborates with the Maintenance Projects & Processes Manager to review and fine tune the Maintenance Operational Processes.

JOB PURPOSE
The Lead Auditor / Quality Management System (QMS) Specialist is responsible for the overall facility internal auditing activities. The Lead Auditor / QMS Specialist all QMS and Audit related activity for the facility, while consulting and advising departments and ACIE / CIE / Top Leadership on QMS gaps and/or improvements by summarizing and reporting QMS / Audit activity on a regular basis. This role supports the N.A. QMS Committee and represents the facility as an ISO SME/QMS. Additionally, this role also interfaces with the Global Honda QMS (G-HQS) committee as well as the Japan Quality Compliance and Audit Division (QCAD) for QMS compliance and monitoring of the internal audit program results.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
QMS Related:
* Lead / Assist development and maintenance of the Russells Point, Ohio facility level procedures (QAPs).
* Lead training activities for QMS related items within the Russells Point, Ohio facility.
* Support the NA Quality Committee for the development and implementation of the Honda North American Quality Manual and supplements as the Russells Point, Ohio facility Lead.
* Serve as the facility administrator for DocuQuest, PeopleQuest, AuditQuest and RecordQuest.
* Support development, implementation, and maintenance of the quality management system based on ISO 9001, G-HQS, NA QMS and local QMS requirements.
Auditing Related:
* Serve as the ISO 9001 Lead Auditor for Russells Point, Ohio facility.
* Co-Lead for External audits of ISO 9001 Certification Registrars and support Regional N.A. or HDMA audits as requested.
* Issue Internal audit plans, conduct audits per the approved audit plan, and issue audit reports, obtaining all required approvals and maintaining the records for the completed internal audits
* Review and support the evaluation of Root Cause Analysis, Temporary and Permanent Countermeasures proposed from departments where gaps are identified and confirm their effectiveness at planned intervals.
* Support development, training, and management of the internal auditing team for ISO 9001
* Support the development of the overall internal audit program as well as the training and management of the internal auditing team for ISO 9001.
Reporting Related:
* Liaison and Support to the PUO CIE and/or TMP-OH ACIE's, providing updates related to the health of the Quality Management System, including the implementation of continual improvement objectives
* Co-lead QMS Committee Meetings monthly on the Local Level, provide facility updates of Procedural Changes, facility specific activity and promote the incorporation of new ideas for continual improvement
* Provide weekly audit finding status updates to Top Management during weekly quality meetings
* Carry out special projects/tasks as assigned by Leadership such as special audit items, BOP Theme activity, etc., as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (relevant manufacturing, quality, and auditing experience)
* Internal Auditor Certification (Lead Auditor Certification preferred)
* 2-6 years of manufacturing / quality experience, including minimum of 1 year of related QMS and/or auditing experience.

The Quality Control Site Representative provides on-site oversight of Maintenance Repair Organizations (MROs) to ensure all maintenance work is carried out in full compliance with Sun Country Airlines' General Maintenance Manual (GMM), FAA regulations, and internal quality standards. This role ensures proper documentation, quality practices, and regulatory reporting are maintained during all phases of aircraft maintenance, with a strong focus on structural integrity, aging aircraft programs, and data traceability.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

* Validate all maintenance sign-offs, logbook entries, and technical records for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
* Act as a liaison between MRO providers and SCA Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance Control teams, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution.
* Perform receiving inspections of aircraft parts and materials at the MRO site, ensuring traceability and airworthiness documentation meets regulatory standards.
* Identify and report non-conformances, ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented, and support continuous improvement efforts.
* Conduct on-site audits and surveillance of MRO operations to assess adherence to Sun Country procedures and FAA Part 121 maintenance requirements.
* Assist MRO staff in interpreting technical data and ensure tasks are performed using approved and current documentation (AMM, SRM, CMM, IPC, etc.).
* Support regulatory submissions and internal reporting such as corrosion reports, structural damage assessments, and SDRs.
* Ensure timely communication and updates via TRAX and other systems, providing real-time visibility into maintenance progress and compliance.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely availability of parts, tooling, and data to maintain schedule without compromising quality.
* Promote a culture of compliance and safety, ensuring all work is carried out per FAA regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety practices.
* Perform other quality-related duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
* Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a minimum of 8 years relevant work experience
Ten (10) years or more Operational Management required
Eight (8) years or more Experience in MS Project, Internal Audit/Corrective Action Systems Software (e.g. JKT) preferred
Eight (8) years or more Process Mapping and Standard Operating Procedures documentation and project management experience preferred
Eight (8) years or more Quality Management/Process Improvement required
One (1) year or more Supervisory experience preferred
Other ISO 9001 certification required if applicable to account
Certified Six Sigma Green Belt
Other American Society of Quality Manager (ASQ)certification

**Requirements**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Experience as a clerk in a warehouse/distribution environment performing duties such as transportation coordination, inventory, shipping/receiving, coordinating with various carriers, vendor and customers strongly preferred
+ Has the ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder
+ Has strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skills
+ Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

+ Experience operating forklift equipment preferred

**Responsibilities**
+ Performs adminstrative tasks for area or shift
+ Maintains filing systems and documents per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
+ Interacts with customers and contractors, answering questions regarding shipment times, product cuts, loads not picked up by the carrier, and damage claims
+ Coordinates processing of export orders, filling out export paperwork, generates export labels, maintaining export paperwork
+ Processes returns in Warehouse Management System (WMS) and maintains paperwork
+ Pallet management: orders CHEP and white wood pallets for the site, conducts reconciliation of pallet count, researches large pallet system variances
+ Using the location's WMS system, updates area or shift metrics as needed
+ Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed
