Key Responsibilities

Leads and/or participates in key committees associated with continuous quality improvement, staff education, and/or consumer health and safety issues.
Collaborates with Directors to design and conduct reviews of select processes and/or areas of operation to measure performance on quality and compliance indicators; assimilates data from these reviews, provides recommendations for improvement and presents findings to senior management.
Develops and implements quality improvement related processes and tools such as chart audits, consumer satisfaction surveys, focused reviews, ongoing data monitoring mechanisms, etc.
Monitors compliance of After-Hours requirements, including the review of the On-Call Log for complete and appropriate responses; oversees the preparation of summary records for annual reviews; monitors and facilitates reporting of incidents per protocols.
Adheres to the CareStar Rule in performance of job responsibilities.
Understands and complies with CareStar Policies and Procedures.
Maintains confidentiality as related to patient information. Any disclosures of confidential information made unlawfully outside the proper course of duty will be treated as a serious disciplinary offense.
Follows the Acceptable Use Policy while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar, Inc.
Minimum Qualifications
Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Independent Social Worker, Registered Nurse and at least 36 months of experience in the home and community-based services within the last 10 years; OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Nursing, Social Services, or related field and at least 60 months of program management or program analysis experience.
Experience with continuous quality improvement principles, data analysis and basic statistics. • Supervisory experience preferred.
Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Familiarity with suite of Microsoft Office programs.
Valid driver's license and car insurance as required by State law.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an intern in this role, you will act as an Air Quality Forecaster for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and enhancing the air quality forecasting program, which informs the public about anticipated air quality levels in Pennsylvania. This includes alerts regarding potential exceedances of the health-based primary National Ambient Air Quality Standards for ozone and fine particulate matter. The Quality Control (QC) Manager is responsible for maintaining the quality and reliability of products and services, establish testing procedures to determine mechanical, civil, and electrical repairs meet requirements of applicable codes, criteria, and regulations, and then documentation of these test results. What You'll Do:
Develop and implement a comprehensive quality control plan for maintenance and repair projects within the USACE RMMR program. This includes defining quality standards, establishing inspection and testing protocols, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and specifications.
Provide leadership and oversight to project teams, contractors, and maintenance personnel regarding quality requirements. Ensure that quality activities are properly carried out throughout all project phases.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with quality standards and project specifications outlined in the performance work statement and appendices. Utilize the three phases of quality control process to conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections. This may involve reviewing maintenance plans, performing visual inspections, and overseeing testing procedures to assess materials, workmanship, and repair processes.
Identify and document any non-conforming work or materials. Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop corrective actions and track their implementation. Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality control activities, including inspection reports, daily quality reports, test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective action documentation. Prepare comprehensive reports to communicate findings to project stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and senior management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality control data, identifying trends, and implementing corrective and preventive measures. Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of quality control processes and recommend enhancements as needed.
Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies to foster a culture of quality and compliance. Provide training and guidance to maintenance and repair personnel on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices.
Stay updated with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards related to quality control in repair and maintenance. Ensure that all repair and maintenance activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements, including environmental, safety, and health regulations.
This position may have supervisory responsibilities. If supervisory responsibilities exist, the individual must mentor subordinate staff.
What You'll Bring:

QC Manager candidate must be either a graduate engineer or a graduate of construction management with a minimum of 5 years' experience on Operation and Maintenance of Fueling Facilities or shall have 10 years' experience on Operation and Maintenance of Fueling Facilities.
Candidate shall have strong knowledge of construction, maintenance and repair methods, materials, and quality control standards. Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to construction quality control.
Current USACE EM 385-1-1 training or thorough demonstrated knowledge.
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, contracts, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

**ROLE SUMMARY:**
We're excited to bring on a Senior Quality Control Technician with hands-on experience in warehouse and fulfillment centers specifically in both packing and formulation product evaluations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality standards, regulations, and be confident in reviewing products against established guidelines to include OTC products. This role plays a key part in auditing products throughout their life cycle within the fulfillment center, helping ensure our customers receive only the highest quality items. You should be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and will be responsible for performing in-line quality inspections as part of the fulfillment process.
When non-conformances occur, you must be able to identify and escalate issues appropriately and thoroughly document all key details. In addition, this role will be responsible for collecting and reporting quality performance data from the production floor on a monthly basis. We're looking for someone who is organized, capable of working with minimal supervision, and committed to maintaining high quality standards throughout the operation.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Conduct quality control inspections of incoming products and packaging items
+ Review incoming paperwork trailer inspections, CoAs, etc.) and release product to production in our warehouse management system
+ In the case of non-conformances, identify non-conformance, collect data and samples to support in the investigation and place appropriate system and physical holds
+ Organize quality samples and coordinate shipment to appropriate parties during quality investigations
+ Define rework instruction, provide oversight into the rework process for the quality function
+ Conduct in-line product quality checks throughout the fulfillment process
+ Manage and organize product retains, and create new standards
+ Support the Quality Control Manager in executing quality programs throughout the site
+ Support the site Inventory Clerks in traceability management
+ Support the QC Manager in mock recall exercises, inventory traceability during exercises and recalls, and Six Sigma/5S quality projects
+ Ability to perform additional QC testing to support non conformance investigations and articulate results and report out (drop testing, humidity chamber testing, tube seal integrity testing)
+ Within the fulfillment center, assist in updating and distributing Quality Alerts and Quality SOPs, and conduct audits of the lines to ensure compliance with this documentation.
+ Manage Quality process improvements
+ Identify process inefficiencies within the fulfillment center, propose solutions to leadership, and execute the approved improvements.
+ Support upcoming expired and obsolete inventory management
+ Assist in overseeing the quality hold inventory, including tracking, movement, and accuracy of items within designated hold locations
+ Partner with Inventory Control and Operations to resolve discrepancies and support inventory disposition activities
**REQUIREMENTS:**
+ 3+ years experience in an operations environment (manufacturing, fulfillment, etc.)
+ 3+ years experience within consumer packaged goods, personal care items, pharmaceutical, food industry, or a similar industry
+ Experience with inspections for OTCs such as SPF lotions and antiperspirants preferred
+ Experience with WMS Softwares (SAP, HighJump, Korber, JDA, etc.)
+ Experience in Excel, Word, Outlook
+ Familiarity with Six Sigma (Yellow or Green Belt certification is a plus)
**POSITION TYPE:**
This is a full-time hourly position.
**SCHEDULE:**
Monday through Friday - 7:00am to 3:30pm
**SALARY:**
$21-$23/hr
