Required Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience Required
10 years or more experience in strategic leadership and senior management of international development programs, ideally relating to scholarships, capacity building or training;
Demonstrated skills in effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders from many different perspectives, including DFAT and partner governments.
Demonstrated capacity to manage staff and build teams across multiple locations, cultures and language groups, working respectfully and in a way that builds staff capacity, commitment, ownership and performance;
Proven capacity to develop, manage and oversee significant budgets;
Ability to adapt and respond to changing circumstances;
Demonstrated understanding of development and developing country contexts;
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate with a variety of different people and to communicate complex issues in plain language;
Proven ability to live and work effectively in cross-cultural contexts;
High ethical standards and a commitment to demonstrating integrity and professionalism;
Relevant tertiary qualifications.

The Event Supervisor will supervise weddings and events. Work days are typically Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, although times may vary. Occasionally a daytime shift during an event or on a weekday may be offered, typically 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
Major Duties/Specific Tasks
Supervise the Manor House, tent, and grounds during events.
Prepare and present reports.
Report any emergencies to EMS and management.
Assist with preparation of events by moving chairs and tables if needed.
Assist with various facility tasks during events.
Supervise the catering staff clean-up of each event.
Turn off all lights in Manor House and tent.
Lock all doors in Manor House.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be age 18 or over.
Ability to deal courteously and effectively with the public and special interest groups, and to provide a strong, positive public relations program; with considerable ability to interpret and explain NOVA Parks policies, rules, and procedures to the public.
Ability to identify and isolate problems and to initiate appropriate actions.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with ability to prepare and present accurate reports.
Working knowledge of personal computers and various software applications.
Ability to perform occasional custodial duties such as cleaning restrooms and stocking supplies, sweeping floors and helping with preparation and clean-up of special events.
Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekend evenings, with an occasional daytime shift, during wedding season.

Job Summary
Loudoun County is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Youth Services Supervisor, supporting the 24/7 operations of two residential programs: the Juvenile Detention Center (JDC) and the RISE Youth Shelter, located in Leesburg, VA. These programs provide short-term care for youth who are pending court hearings, serving court-ordered sanctions, or placed for service provision. The Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) regulates these programs to ensure compliance with state requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manages residential services during assigned shift
* Planning, organizing, and supervising shift activities
* Ensuring timely and accurate completion of program documentation
* Intervening during crisis situations and resolving conflicts
* Overseeing staff performance and ensuring appropriate training is provided
* Administering medications in accordance with policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

Job Contingencies and Special Requirements
Employment is contingent on the satisfactory results of a background investigation to include criminal history and fingerprinting, child protective services, Department of Motor Vehicles record check, and physical exam with drug test and TB testing. Must maintain a current driver's license, CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention, and all other certifications and training required by policy and standards.
Must be able to complete First Aid, CPR for adults, and Handle with Care (physical intervention) within 90 days of hire. Must update certifications as needed. Position is essential personnel, requiring on-site presence during inclement weather, emergencies, or as required by the Departement Director. Must be able to work rotating shifts (day/evenings/overnights), including weekends and holidays, and able to work overtime when required to meet operational needs. Must have the ability to use automated technology and be able to operate keyboard-driven equipment. Requires occasional stooping, bending, and /or light lifting.
