ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred. Experience: Experience leading recreational and educational programming. Knowledge and Ability: Desire and ability to work with children in an educational and recreational setting. Ability to work independently and collaboratively to design and implement curriculum. Excellent customer service and organizational skills. Ability to lead others in group and individual activities, demonstrating necessary steps and skills. Effective communication with staff and program participants and ability to respond effectively and quickly in varying situations. Ability to be professional, respectful, accountable, innovative, to follow safety procedures, and be equitable to both internal and external customers Approximately 17-20 hours per week, ranging from 2pm-6pm.
