This position is responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, restrooms, and various common areas assigned to your unit. Rotating Shift Times:
Evenings: 4pm - 12:30am or 3pm - 11:30pm.
Schedule requires availability to work every other weekend and Holiday and ability to work 1st or 3rd shift as needed.
Responsibilities:
Conducts general training for new employees in floor care, wall washing, carpet cleaning, and special procedures. Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces. Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation. Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated. Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift. Other duties as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Certifications:
None required.
Complexity of Work:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Work Experience:
A minimum of one year experience in Environmental Services preferred with strong customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others in coordinating multiple tasks. Some leadership or experience providing work direction helpful.
Physical Requirements:
Requires full body motion, including ability to perform work while lifting, bending, stooping, crouching, squatting and reaching. Requires continuous walking and standing on hard surfaces. Job Duties/Responsibilities

Recognizing problems and initiating troubleshooting steps to evaluate testing failures and other problems. Send daily, weekly and monthly productions report to management Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to SOPs Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary Assist with processing of specimens when needed Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

Manages a team of Underwriters providing guidance and thought leadership on complex deals.
