Relationship banker job at Tech Credit Union
The Senior Relationship Banker assists members with a full range of financial products and services in a retail branch setting, including banking transactions, product sales, handling negotiables and offering excellent service. In addition, the Senior Relationship Banker is responsible for developing direct and indirect sales growth including but not limited to mortgage and auto lending. The incumbent performs all duties in compliance with regulatory requirements and with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties
Performs a wide variety of banking transactions with minimal supervision.
May participate in offsite business development events, such as Member Company wellness fairs and community activities, and activities, such as phone campaigns.
May attend networking events, business development sales calls to increase the visibility of the Tech CU brand.
Opens new member accounts and processes loan applications in person and via Virtual Branch.
May delivers Educational Workshops, using digital/virtual platforms and in person, to acquire business, raise awareness of Tech CU products/services, and its brand.
Delivers exceptional member service, ensuring requests and/or issues are researched and resolved in a timely manner.
Meets or exceeds sales goals ethically and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Enters qualified sales referrals into designated tracking system.
Receives and dispenses various denominations of coin and currency.
Processes all transactions accurately and efficiently, while maintaining member confidentiality.
Opens, closes and balances cash drawer daily, ensuring proper handling of cash and negotiables.
Occasionally travels to and works in branches outside of home branch as directed by leadership.
Maintains current knowledge of Tech CU products/services and competitive landscape.
Participates in Tech CU training as guided by manager, including compliance, product knowledge and soft skills.
May attend staff and company-wide meetings.
May offer periodic coaching to other less experienced staff.
Work Schedule
Full-time; typically 37-40 hours/week
8:45am-5:15pm, M-F, rotating Saturdays 9:30am-2:30pm, local time.
Occasional overtime
Flexibility to occasionally work early or late hours, and extended weekend hours, typically with advance notice

Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Experience: 5+ years' experience in related disciplines, including sales, customer service or financial services preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Solid knowledge and fluency in utilizing digital/virtual platforms to meet with internal/external contacts.

May be required to occasionally attend offsite training, meetings or events, typically with advance notice. Overnight travel unlikely. Holds a clear & valid Drivers' License. Possesses current automobile insurance. Willing to travel as required and to drive one's own auto to conduct Tech CU business.

Equipment Used: Routinely uses standard office equipment, including computer, phone, copier and other devices.
Physical Requirements:
Sight to distinguish between various denominations of coin and currency

Position Grade: 103
Salary Range: minimum-$62,500, midpoint-$73,000, maximum-$83,500
Work Location: The salary range listed is based on working in San Jose, CA. If you work remotely, your salary will be adjusted based on your geographic location.
Typical Starting Pay: Most new hires start between the minimum and midpoint of the range (adjusted for work location if applicable), based on experience and qualifications.
Bonus Potential: Target 7% of base salary based on company and individual performance

Expected base pay rates for the role will be $275,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Position Overview
The Premier Banker delivers world-class service in accordance with Fremont Bank standards at every client interaction. The Premier Banker will recommend or refer retail consumer and business products and services to prospective and existing clients and develop and maintain internal partner relationships to maximize relationship expansion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This role will perform a variety of sales and service functions using a high degree of personal service skills. A Concierge Banker is responsible for efficiently processing a variety of client transactions and promptly responding to all client information and transaction requests. Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

Responding to customer inquiries and concerns; researching and identifying solutions.

As a Float Concierge Banker, a designated banking center will be assigned at the location stated. This posiion requires the flexibility to drive to and from different branches with the region.
