Summary:
CVOR surgical technologists facilitates the safe and effective execution of cardiovascular surgical procedures under the supervision of the surgeon. They are responsible for preparing the operating room, maintaining sterile environments, ensuring equipment functionality, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team to maximize patient safety and procedural efficiency.
Essential Work Functions:
Set up the operating room prior to surgical procedures
Stock surgical supplies and inspect surgical machines and equipment to ensure proper functionality prior to procedures
Assist in transporting patients to and from surgery as required
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team to deliver coordinated care
Anticipate the surgeon's needs, efficiently passing instruments to maintain procedural flow
Handle specimens with precision and care to maintain diagnostic integrity and follow institutional protocols
Collaborate with other health team members to ensure seamless surgical workflow
Maintain sterility by cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control standards
Utilize data from surgical preference cards for the surgical procedure and surgeon
Maintain proficiency in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including open and closed heart surgeries
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

The Role
We are seeking a Federal Client Executive to grow Exiger's footprint across the Army and DLA, driving new business and expanding existing accounts that support sustainment, procurement, and modernization priorities.
You will own the full sales lifecycle-building pipeline, cultivating relationships, and closing strategic opportunities that align Exiger's technology with the DoW's readiness and transformation goals.
This is a quota-carrying role for a mission-minded seller who understands how innovation, data, and risk intelligence directly impact the Army and DLA's ability to equip, deploy, and sustain its forces.
Key Responsibilities
Meet and exceed annual revenue goals by driving new SaaS business and expanding current accounts
Build and manage a robust pipeline through disciplined prospecting, engagement, and account planning
Engage confidently with senior leaders and acquisition professionals across the DLA and Army community
Deliver tailored demonstrations that connect Exiger's platform to outcomes in readiness, sustainment, and supply-chain integrity
Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer-success teams to ensure measurable mission results
Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM discipline, and clear internal communication
Stay informed on sustainment doctrine, acquisition reform, and modernization efforts to align strategy with evolving mission needs
What You Bring
Proven success in Federal SaaS or technology sales, with full-cycle ownership from prospecting through close
Experience engaging with the DLA and Army community or federal sustainment and acquisition environments
Ability to articulate complex solutions in ways that resonate with both technical and operational stakeholders
Familiarity with consultative or value-based selling frameworks such as MEDDPICC
Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; prior Army or defense experience is a plus

Responsibilities:
Conduct personnel security investigations.
Interpret governmental and commercial database checks to identify areas of concern.
Analyze investigative reports and other sources of information to identify security vulnerabilities.
Develop investigative leads.
Propose recommendations regarding the approval, denial, or revocation of eligibility for access to national security information based on appropriate adjudicative standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (or Associate's with 9 years of relevant experience*)
7 years of experience in the personnel security investigative or investigative analyst field.
Experience interpreting Governmental and commercial database checks to identify areas of concern during the investigative process.

Are you a Geologist seeking a challenging opportunity with a firm committed to our employees and providing excellence to our clients? S&ME is looking for an eager and dedicated full-time Field Geologist to support drilling operations at various locations for our client, Southern Company, in Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia.
As a Field Geologist, you will primarily be responsible for technical direction and successful execution of subsurface field investigations in support of engineering site assessments, environmental studies, and foundation remediation.
Your Day-to-Day:
* Field oversight for monitoring well installation programs, foundation investigations, underground utility investigations, or related projects
* Perform soil and rock logging
* Prepare professional logs for soil, rock, and monitoring well construction data
* Manage drilling and other related contractors according to company guidelines and procedures
* Interface with various customers and assist Drilling Services leaders and internal drilling resources to facilitate field investigations
You will report to Southern Company's Logan Martin Dam office in Vincent, Alabama, for weekly scheduled projects and locations. Extensive travel is required. You will typically travel to each site directly from your home. A company truck will be provided. Southern Company will cover travel expenses.
Key knowledge, skills, and attributes for success in this role include experience in field investigations utilizing various drilling methods, soil and rock logging, environmental sampling and testing methods, regulatory knowledge, and project budget management. Proficiency in the gINT Boring Log Program and flexible computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Additionally, the role requires strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to work with limited supervision, a safety-first mindset, and strong customer focus and conflict resolution skills.
What You Bring:
* A Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field
* 3+ years of experience working directly in a geologic, environmental, engineering, construction, or other geological-related field
* A Professional Geology (PG) license, a plus
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
You are willing and able to perform the physical demands of this position with the use of Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment, such as:
* Working outdoors the majority of the time in varying weather conditions
* Walking over rough, uneven terrain and standing for potentially up to 12 hours a day
* Routinely lifting and carrying 40-50lbs (field/laboratory samples and equipment)
* Maneuvering field equipment safely, such as a loaded wheelbarrow, on uneven ground around active construction sites
