Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As the Deputy Chief Engineer for the Common Weapon Launcher (CWL) and Multi-Tube Weapon Simulator (MTWS) programs, you will support the CWL Chief Engineer in daily operations across project phases from concept to testing. This role requires interfacing with both internal engineering teams and customer engineering organizations. Preferred qualifications include a relevant engineering degree, at least 5 years of technical experience (submarine Navy experience preferred), and excellent communication skills. Required Qualifications:

The ultimate purpose of this role is to provide the disciplined leadership and structural organization necessary to rapidly implement critical, high-impact security solutions that directly protect the Nation's digital borders while ensuring continuous, compliant contract delivery for 24x7x365 network, cyber, and cloud services.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Leading the overall engineering, deployment, and lifecycle management of the 24x7 SOC tool suite, ensuring compliance with NIST/DHS frameworks
* Directing the collaboration, administration, configuring, and securing of the core CSD tool suite (e.g., IDS/IPS, SIEM, AV, etc.).

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or cybersecurity.
* Seven (7+) years of experience in security administration systems and support.
* At least one of the following certifications: Splunk Architect, A+, Security+, or Network+.
* Proven experience installing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network security solutions (L2/L3 devices, NAC, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, WAF).
* Advanced working knowledge of encryption algorithms, SIEM technologies, and embedded systems security.
* Splunk experience.

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our Fleet support Install team in King George, VA. The position is onsite.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) on the AEGIS Weapons System and Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) surface ship program
* Provide support / assistance to the Combat Integrated Air and Missile Test (CIAT)
* Update and maintain existing production and installation processes and procedures
* Oversee computer program production, testing, and installation on surface combatant ships
* Manage computer program media load cycles and verification
* Assist in resolving any computer program build or installation anomalies
* Develop and maintain build and installation documentation and scripts as required
* Implement new technology within the build and installation processes
* Up to 25% travel Conus and Oconus Hawaii, Guam, Spain, and Japan
Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* 4+ years of maintenance or operations experience with the Navy's AEGIS Combat System
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience UNIX and LINUX, configuration management (CM) production, installation; and quality control processes
* Recent Navy waterfront or Aegis Computer Network Technician (ACNT) experience
Clearance Requirements:
* Must be a US Citizen and have an active Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
* Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Incudes working in government tactical labs, ships and sites.
* Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
* Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
