At Office Depot and Office Max, the Sales Advisor is a part-time role, providing exceptional customer service by performing duties as cashier, provides logistics support, stocking, restocking, down stocking, inventory control, cleaning the store and protecting company assets. S/he will quickly build and maintain customer relationships and become a trusted advisor by utilizing basic training of Technology products/services and print offerings.

The associate in this role will demonstrates a passion for the brand, technology products, furniture, services, print and other services/products offered to our customers. S/he will utilize Office Depot and Office Max’s proven sales principles to proactively engage customers, in order to drive the sales of our total offerings and properly assess customer needs to ensure satisfaction in every interaction.

Required successful completion of current basic Tech and Print Certification and continued education in these areas. The essential functions of this position may require you to consent to periodic comprehensive background checks conducted by a third-party.
Primary Responsibility:
1. Provides exceptional customer service by performing duties as cashier, provides logistics support, stocking, restocking, down stocking, inventory control, cleaning the store and protecting company assets.
2. Performs merchandise-related activities to ensure merchandise presentation guidelines are met through implementing plan-o-gram changes and updates, merchandise set and price changes. Sets weekly ads, including price changes, and any associated updates to store signage.

3. Follows the established sorting and stocking guidelines and completes freight processes. Ensures freight sorting area is organized and setup in accordance with guidelines. Scans, investigates and fills inventory lows and outs daily.

4. Proactively acknowledges and engages every customer to ensure a positive customer experience. Utilizes and understands the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional product and/or services solutions. Maintains awareness of planned advertisements and promotions.
5. Able to evaluate the customer’s needs to determine what additional offerings or services that a customer may need in addition to determining if a customer should be referred to the Contract Sales organization.
6. Works to develop personal selling skills and specialized product knowledge through sales and service tools provided. Drives Technology, Tech Services, Furniture and Print sales by supporting all related current programs, new product launches and special initiatives.
7. Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and practices; and supports company loss prevention efforts.

Education & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent education preferred
Retail sales experience preferred

Technical Advisor II - CCM Pi AdminFull-time
Primary Purpose

Aids with the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of full cycle of OSI PI/AVEVA suite of software services, integration/transport, processing and/or visualization, and associated systems to support the analytics needs of data/business analysts or data scientists. Consults with and provides technical guidance to business partners, IT peer teams, regarding data requirements, design, processes and technical solutions. Aids with analytics project workstreams and/or smaller integration or visualization projects. Works with multiple business subject areas/data domains and applies expertise in OSI PI/AVEVA technology and data capabilities (integration, storage/processing, visualization).

Job Duties

* Participates in the design, creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of OSI PI system, tags, interfaces, data archive, PI visualization suite, integrators (GIS & BA) and general processing. Provide support with data analytics projects and initiatives. Manage the OSI PI data catalog, metadata repository and any associated data management efforts. Work with vendor partners and/or team to ensure solutions using OSI PI data are designed and developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices.
* Solution development and support: Compile data requirements, perform data analysis and implement logical data modeling requirements/designs, define data and object elements. Build and scale data ingestion and transformation processes. Build datasets, tools and documentation to enable analysts, end users and data scientists to build analytics and reports. Design, build and implement processes to monitor/visualize performance that enables actionable operational improvements.
* Collaboration/Continuous Improvement: Expand and support continuous improvement via identification, root cause analysis, resolution of problems and implementing recommend preventive designs/techniques. Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts, anticipating and identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions. Support the automation of manual processes and optimizing data delivery, for greater analytics scalability, etc. Participate with staff, business/vendor partners, and other stakeholders in new product reviews, tests, and pilots. Foster and maintain good relationships with business partners, IT and vendor partners. Develop business knowledge and relationships to integrate activities with other project initiatives to ensure successful implementation and support project efforts.

Education

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other quantitative field is preferred.

Requirements

* Five years of professional experience as a PI analyst or engineer or equivalent .
* Experience building and optimizing PI interfaces, managing data archives, providing architectural solutions and data sets.
* Experience assisting end users with the use of PI tools, like PI System Explorer, PI System Management Tool, PI Interface Configuration Utility, Data Link and PI Vision.
* Experience building PI AF hierarchies, templates, analyses, calculations, event frames and notifications.
* Experience working in an agile/scrum environment
* Experience dealing with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Proven track record of translating technical objectives into engineering reality

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Expertise of PI system including the PI Data Archive, PI Interfaces, PI Asset Framework, PI Integrator for BA and PI Vision.
* Expertise in installation, configuration, and monitoring support for the PI system servers and various PI system data interfaces
* Knowledge of change management processes.
* Working knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases tools.
* Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets.
* Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and with vendor partners.
* Self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products
* Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms
* Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
