Key Qualifications


3+ years proven experience contributing and leading cross-functional projects or tracks from initiation to delivery as Technical Analyst / Lead. 2+ years of experience in SAP Application Development and Support, namely must have ABAP/Web Dynpro knowledge and practical experience. Must have knowledge of best practices in software development, system integration, unit testing and application performance tuning. Understanding/hand on experience with S/4 HANA, HANA and/or SAP BTP is a plus. Knowledge of software engineering practices, standard methodologies for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment. Ability to define and execute repeatable user/vendor onboarding processes for enterprise systems. Able to deliver quality solutions within scope and timeline in an environment with high expectations and challenging timelines. Ability to quickly learn and adapt new concepts and technologies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic understanding of complex/composite system design. Self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Goal and detail oriented, innovative, sensitive to established scope & timelines, strong at technical analysis Strong verbal and written communication skills, including creation/delivery of technical presentations and meeting facilitation (both in person and remote) and an ability to drive consensus with key stakeholders. Description


As an SAP Technical Analyst, we look forward to your contributions for development, troubleshooting and performance tuning of on-premise and cloud applications developed using a combination of SAP technologies and platforms. As an analyst you will manage application issue escalations, participate and contribute in application improvement efforts enabling reliable, secure and robust enterprise solutions. You will have opportunities to work with other IS&T Teams, Partners and Business teams to execute assessments and Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) that may evolve into production solutions. This role will lead the onboarding of key business users to existing enterprise solutions and provide support as needed. We require strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentations creation/delivery and meeting facilitation and an ability to drive consensus with key stakeholders.


Education & Experience


Bachelors degree and/or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology and hands-on work experience in SAP is preferred. Certifications in SAP and Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus but not required.

The EDI Technical Analyst is responsible for the analysis and development of EDI processes and initiatives. This role will work on EDI projects under the direction and supervision of senior EDI team members for the creation and changes to EDI processes. In addition, this role will proactively review and suggest changes to requirements gathering, EDI process design, and EDI project implementations to continually improve the speed of delivery and first-time success of EDI implementations.
Essential Functions



Strategy & Planning


Analyze and assess existing EDI processes to provide recommendations to address, prevent and/or resolve business issues. Provide recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group.


Acquisition & Deployment


Help plan and organize tasks, report progress, manage & coordinate with cross-functional teams for EDI project implementations. Review and suggest changes to requirement gathering, EDI process design, and EDI project implementations to continually improve the speed and first-time success of EDI implementations.


Operational Management


Aid in the troubleshooting and resolution of EDI and related integration support issues. Work with existing systems to track and manage requests and issues. Monitor production systems to identify opportunities to increase efficiencies. Develop and implement project plans to successfully meet objectives.


Incidental Functions


Attend meetings on behalf of the EDI team. Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation as needed. Train and share knowledge with the EDI team. Assist with Lean projects as may be required to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the B2B/EDI team. Minor travel may be required (domestic and international). Work hours outside the standard office 7.5-hour workday may be required.


Position Requirements



Formal Education & Certification


Bachelor's degree in or foreign equivalent in a related field or equivalent experience.


Knowledge & Experience


2+ years IT or business experience. Familiarity with an enterprise DBMS, such as Oracle or SQL Server (Oracle experience preferred).

Job Summary: Support development, operations, and documentation of DoD unclassified and classified applications for projects sponsored by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and conducted by Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic, Charleston SC. Assist in collecting and organizing information for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
