Essential Job Duties:
- Responsible for installing and maintaining process analyzer equipment.
- Occasionally called upon to do other I/E related work and to perform broader duties that support the goals and objectives of the maintenance department.
- Occasionally works evening and weekends to keep critical equipment in service.
- Maintain, update, report, requisition, and document the analyzer department records and resources to assure availability and dependability of test equipment, tools, spare parts, outside repairs, specifications, equipment history, vendor resources, and library resources.
- Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and or transport our products, as our highest priority.
- Provide attention to detail, and dedication to work in order to ensure reliability of the work site as well as high quality product.

*Qualifications*- High School Diploma/GED
- This position requires proof of the NCCER certification prior to employment (electrical and/or instrumentation preferred).
- 3 or more years of experience in analyzer operations and/or maintenance including Gas Chromatographs.
- Ability to apply knowledge of electronics, chemistry, physics, mechanics of fluids and chromatography.
- Ability to understand complex analyzer sample systems and analyzer instrumentation.
- Ability to effectively function and excel in a team environment as well as work independently with minimum supervision.
- High safety and environmental awareness.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- High proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Ability to read, write and speak in English.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

**IMPORTANT DETAILS:**
+ Shift Details: 2 nd Shift 2:45PM-11:00PM
**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:**
+ Analyze a wide variety of rejected electronic assemblies (product) using a variety of test equipment, simulators and troubleshooting skills to perform necessary testing and inspections to determine root cause of failures.
+ Troubleshoots and diagnoses complex problems with product, defines possible solutions and ability to clearly define root cause of problem.
+ Discuss results of failure analysis and corrective actions with supervisor, product/quality engineers and Test System engineers.
+ Identifies vendor vs. process defects.
+ Writes failure analysis reports and records data of failures.
**WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS ROLE:**
+ Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
+ Ability to operate/setup electronics equipment (signal generator, modulation and audio analyzers, spectrum analyzer, power meter, oscilloscopes, etc).
+ RF knowledge and 1-3 years related experience.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot down to component level is a PLUS.
+ Extensive knowledge of a wide variety of 2-way subscriber products is a PLUS.
+ Electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills are required.
+ Must be able to explain and prove problem diagnosis.
+ Electronics Technician must be a fast learner and self-motivated, independent worker.
+ He/she must have the ability to work under pressure and the willingness to work in varying conditions.
+ The candidate must be available to support factory on weekends when requested (usually last weekend of each month)
