The Health Equity Alliance of Long Island (HEALI) is Long Island's Social Care Network (SCN) of community-based organizations (CBOs) and healthcare providers building a person centric model that integrates healthcare, social care, and behavioral health care. HWCLI is the lead entity for the HEALI Social Care Network. The SCN brings together social service and health care providers from across Nassau and Suffolk counties to provide enhanced healthcare equity through improvements in need identification, care coordination, integration, and provision of tailored funding.
JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: TechnicalAssistance Specialist, Health Equity Alliance of Long Island
HWCLI seeks an experienced, energetic, passionate, and socially conscious individual to support the HWCLI and HEALI missions by providing client-centered technical support and training. This role is responsible for ensuring successful participation and performance of network organizations through training delivery and targeted technicalassistance provision. This role will focus on day-to-day operations of the training delivery system, training development processes, and provide collaborative coaching, training, and quality improvement activities to ensure successful performance across the Network. This position reports to the Service Design Program Director.
Responsibilities include:
Serves as a regional expert of all SCN functions and provides in-person and virtual technicalassistance and training support to optimize service integration and delivery across a network of CBOs;
Coordinate the design and delivery of targeted training and TA interventions in response to performance trends;
Manage the day-to-day functions of the network Learning Management System to ensure training completion meets network standards
Identify the need for training and resource materials and tools (e.g. user guides, reference documents, tip sheets, etc). Develop and deploy, and connect partners to appropriate resources and stakeholders;
Provide technicalassistance to all onboarded network partners through ongoing assessment and evaluation, training, policy and procedure optimization, and implementation strategy;
Meet with partner organizations as needed to support onboarding and ongoing challenges, ensure information in the network is still up to date, review network utilization, compliance with network standards, successes, and challenges
Directly support local CBOs to build capacity with HRSN screening/navigation/HRSN case management/service delivery capabilities;
Contribute to the development of routine performance reports both internally and externally;
Collaborate closely with Unite Us support team to develop appropriate recommendations for system and workflow enhancements;
Other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required
Valid NYS driver's license and the ability to travel locally in Long Island as needed for in-person meetings
1-3 years of project management, capacity building, training delivery, technicalassistance, or quality improvement experience preferred
Experience working with Unite Us platform or similar referral and care management tools strongly preferred
Prior experience in issues related to healthcare; social services; health equity, access and quality; population health (or some subset/combination of these) preferred.

How You Will Contribute:
Assists the Account Executive when underwriting or brokering risks, insuring that all required information is obtained, proper applications are completed, quotes & binders are confirmed in writing, policies are issued promptly and accurately, state filings (where applicable) are made and taxes paid in accordance with appropriate state laws.
Assists the Account Executives when reviewing, analyzing and underwriting risk submitted by producers, rate submissions for premium and terms analyze exposures for quotes for new and renewal business, issue written indications, quotes and binders.
Confirm that the coding of specific required forms are completed and utilized. Insure the templates are updated for processing of policies/coverage.
Communicate with producers, Company representatives, inspection companies, and finance companies to insure expeditious handling of all submission.
Review and have letters for renewals processed.
Order and follow up for inspections.
Request Loss Runs for years written with office.
Follow up for suspense items on applications, subject to; inspections, and etc.
Process accordingly all brokerage and contract endorsements.
Handle correspondence with company / producers with Account Executive supervisor as needed
Process mail received by USPS, Email, or fax.
Perform other duties as assigned by members of management or deemed necessary to completed above duties.

Reporting to the Director of ITS Financial Operations, the ITS Procurement Coordinator provides asset-related services to the Division of Information Technology Services and other academic and administrative units. * Reviews all requests for purchases of technology goods and services to determine appropriate technology choices, sourcing methods, and compliance with law, regulations, policies, and procedures.
* Coordinates with Information Technology Services units, Financial Affairs/Purchasing, and other campus partners to develop complex purchasing requests for proposal, bids, and sole sources on new equipment, replacements, and service/software renewals.
* Plans and manages the periodic upgrades of major IT systems, ranging from desktop deployments to networking and infrastructure equipment - to include both procurement at the start of lifecycle and recycling at end of lifecycle.
* Represents Information Technology Services on University-level technology implementation and innovation projects, and on various user groups, testing teams, and focus groups.

Announcement is hereby made for a full-time, 12-month, Professional Assistant for an Enterprise Applications position in the Office of Information Technology Services located on the Ammerman Campus in Selden. Suffolk County Community College is an open admissions institution committed to serving a diverse student population in a variety of degree and career programs.
This is a Unit III position covered under the Faculty Association of Suffolk County Community College collective bargaining agreement with the college.
This position will report to the College Assistant Director of Enterprise Applications and will primarily support the analysis, development, integration, ongoing maintenance and operation of the college's Administrative Information Systems comprised of database management systems; Ellucian's Banner ERP; Slate CRM and numerous other custom applications and ancillary systems. This position is required to work with a team of professionals to support solutions both on-premises and on hosted environments.
The Professional Assistant is expected to be knowledgeable and proficient in the development of data structures and application solutions based upon detailed specifications and must possess an understanding of relational database systems. This position is responsible for conducting systems research and analysis, developing, testing and assisting in the implementation of application solutions in a heterogeneous environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to prioritize their workload with minimum supervision, have experience with object-oriented programming languages and demonstrate working knowledge of systems analysis and design methods.
Job Responsibilities:
* Develop, test and implement solutions based upon specifications to support the college's student, employee, faculty and financial information systems.
* Support transactional systems and data integrity through the development and documentation of database structures, procedures, scripts, reports and processes.
* Stay current with technology related to the position and research new opportunities as they relate to the college technology landscape.
* Work with other team members to support programming standards and best practices as they relate to existing and emerging systems and technologies.
* Work with college resources, SUNY cohorts and third-party providers to provide IT solutions.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships through communication and interaction with college departments, groups and personnel for whom tasks and assignments are assigned.
* Provide periodic status updates to college administration and other stakeholders with regard to assigned projects, tasks and other designated responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
* An Associate's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* One year of technical work experience supporting an organizational Information Technology service, including components of system design; development; testing; implementation; end-user support; analysis; research and resolution.
Preferred:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
* Working knowledge of remote API services.
* Working knowledge with data transformation using file formats such as CSV, XML/XSLT, JSON.
* Experience with source control tools like Git or Maven.
* Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or CRM Systems.
* Experience with SQL and/or Reporting Tools for data analysis and reporting.
* Experience with data warehousing concepts and applications.
* Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
* Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint.

This is a Unit III position covered under the Faculty Association of Suffolk County Community College collective bargaining agreement with the College.
