As a Technologists Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting/supporting the Technologists in a variety of ways (based on need), allowing the Technologists patient schedules to remain on time. This role is also responsible for ensuring that the scanning area runs smoothly, is maintained and kept organized. This is a casual position working various shifts including evenings during the week, flexible schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(70%) Technologist Assistance
Monitors schedules for all modalities, arthrograms, and image scans, adjusting as necessary and keeping technologists informed of changes.
Greets and escorts patients to changing room; briefly explains procedure
Prepares patient jackets and compiles films putting them together in appropriate jacket according to date and number
Assists technologists in room set up between patients, including putting proper coil on table, putting previous coil away and changing table sheet
Prepares the next patient for scanning before the current patient completes their procedure to optimize scheduling.
Restores and networks all previous exams for next day's returning patients
(20%) Cleaning & Organization
Stocks and cleans work and control areas and MRI room(s)
Ensures that all patient imaging areas are stocked and organized in a neat and tidy manner
Cleans and stocks patient prep room and patient restroom
Stocks linen and empties laundry at the end of the night
Organizes and cleans supply closet and computer rooms
Organizes radiologist reading area after radiologist has left for the day
Checks with technologists of all modalities, Medical Records and/or Front Office team members to assist with any additional duties as needed

Essential Duties
Develop product knowledge in all product lines in order to provide technical support to all field personnel on the servicing of Graco products.
Establish sound troubleshooting and repair knowledge on all assigned equipment. Be prepared to provide troubleshooting and repair assistance by telephone to Graco end-users, distributors, and Graco field personnel.
Provide limited application assistance on equipment.
Monitor and report any product defects to the Product Service Managers, Quality and Engineering departments as soon as possible.
Remain the focal point for communication to the field and other pertinent Graco personnel on the product problems, actions, and resolution.
Each specialist will have the responsibility for knowing and following all ISO procedures related to their jobs.
Construct a complete reference library that will enable you to provide fast and accurate information to the customer.
Be prepared to assist in product modifications and system requirements with customers, Product Managers, Marketing, Product Development, and Engineering groups.
Establish sound product and system troubleshooting skills on all Graco equipment new and old.
Attend information gathering and dissemination meetings to support and assist in resolving product problems with other support groups.
Attend new and old product training seminars to increase product troubleshooting skills, application knowledge, and product awareness to maintain technical expertise.
Conduct product-training classes to the work group covering both the technical and application aspects of the product.
Handle Customer Service inquiries and duties as required.
Provide reliable decision making information at the time a decision is required (develop and maintain a sound and practical sense of urgency).
Establish and maintain a professional, responsive working relationship and rapport with all Graco distributors and all other departments within Graco.
Travel to the field as required, to establish reliable service feedback, perform technical training and technical product support as required. Some weekend travel and work will be required.

Required skills
• 5+ years of experience in systems support analysis experience.
• Application administration or production support in a telephony (Avaya) environment.
• Preferably experience with Qfiniti Call Recording and Verint Workforce Management.
• Experience in Application administration or production support in a Windows/SQL environment.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Experience with owning and driving technical initiatives
Responsibilities
• Perform migrations from lower environments to production, lead upgrades, installations, and configurations.
• Evaluate or review queries to extract data, or perform limited programming to fine tune systems supported.
