As an Advanced Technologist Assistant, you will be onsite and able to perform a wide variety of routine duties including clerical, technical and patient related functions. The Advanced Technologist Assistant is responsible for assisting radiology technologists in providing a broad range of health care services such as: patient check-in, exam review, preparation for the visit, patient education, assistance with exams and procedures, and patient transporting.
Essential Functions

As an instructor for Colorado LTAP, you will be contracted to provide training across the state to provide knowledge, skills and resources to the Colorado LTAP community through consultation, scheduled classes and training programs. You will work with the Director of Colorado LTAP and perform the job duties with little supervision while working with a highly collaborative team.
In this position, the approximate time commitment is 4-8 days of training per topic area per year depending on need, availability and subject matter experience. Colorado LTAP primarily conducts trainings March to May and September to November with additional training sessions as needed or requested.
Colorado LTAP Instructors deliver training at different times, locations, and modalities (in-person, virtually and on-demand) across the state.
* In-Person: synchronous (or real-time), interactive, instructor-led classes taught in-person.
* Virtual: synchronous (or real-time), interactive, instructor-led classes taught through video conference.
* On-Demand: asynchronous (or self-paced) classes delivered over the Internet.
For in-person trainings, when offered beyond FRCC's three campuses, the program partners with local organizations to conduct onsite trainings. Instructors are reimbursed for travel/mileage.
SALARY:$600 - $1,000 per full-day course depending on experience and course complexity.

Front Range Advanced Technician Assistant
Technical assistant job in Colorado
The Advanced Technician Assistant will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in at least two of the following hospital settings: GP, Shelter, Urgent Care, Specialty and ER.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, gathering patient histories, TPRs, feeding and walking animals, patient restraint, cleaning kennels, monitoring animals general wellbeing, filling prescriptions, etc. In addition, the Advanced Technician Assistant will be able to place catheters, draw blood and give oral, subq, or IM medications with the dose calculated by an RVT or DVM. IV medications will need direct supervision. The Advanced Technician Assistant will be able to restrain for anesthesia induction and intubation but will not induce or monitor anesthesia.
