Keeps shop area neat and clean. Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as they were received. Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc. Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner. * Assist HVAC Technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. * Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, changing belts, cleaning ducts and changing air filters. * Conduct leak searches, pump down a system, check refrigerant levels and assist with refrigerant recovery. * Assist HVAC Technicians with cutting and fitting piping, ducting, or insulation. * Transport tools and materials to and from the job site. * Prepare work areas by removing debris and ensuring safety measures are in place.
