About Nevada GrantLab
Nevada GrantLab (“GrantLab”), a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, was founded in 2020 with a mission to support nonprofits and their local government partners (“partners”) to successfully access and administer federal grants that benefit Nevadans and strengthen organizations. Our mission is in direct response to Nevada's chronic underperformance in securing federal grant resources, which undermines community-serving organization's ability to meet the needs and opportunities of Nevadans, especially in the Las Vegas region. We pursue this mission through four interrelated strategies (programs):
Capacity Building: helping partners discover and build the capabilities and skills needed to improve grant competitiveness, enhance operations and grow impact.
Technical Assistance: providing partners with targeted, hands-on support to address specific organizational or programmatic needs and strengthening communities.
Grant Services: assisting partners to identify federal grant funding that is a good fit and submit competitive applications.
Building the Movement: connecting agencies and stakeholders with the data, ideas, and partners they need to maximize federal grants.
To date, we have facilitated more than 100 capacity building workshops, completed more than 56 technical assistance projects, and supported partners in winning nearly $300 million in new federal grant funding to support local services in areas ranging from the arts to workforce development. We are growing and evolving fast.
What You Will Do
The Director of Technical Assistance will lead and advance GrantLab's technical assistance program, which aims to provide community partners with access to excellent assistance on a range of core nonprofit skills and tasks. Additionally, the Director will work closely with their GrantLab colleagues to ensure community partners receive comprehensive, timely solutions that integrate GrantLab's many capabilities and offerings. Leveraging your experience working with nonprofit organizations and leaders, you will provide practical, actionable analysis, guidance, and coaching including but not limited to:
Conduct organizational assessments for partners to help them identify and clarify opportunities to strengthen their organizations
Provide strategic planning services, including facilitating strategy discussions, conducting analysis, and developing implementation and accountability plans
Support work plan implementation through coaching and project management monitoring
Lead and manage professional services contracts of vendors who support specific partner requirements including, program development or evaluation, financial management, governance, as well as other aspects of organizational strengthening and grant readiness
Internally, you will
Develop, implement, and monitor program goals, objectives, key results, policies, processes.
Prepare project budgets, source vendors, and manage reports requirements for funders.
Develop and manage annual objectives, key results and a program budget aligned to GrantLab priorities
Lead program management functions, including reporting and record keeping
Manage GrantLab staff and lead contract professionals and vendors
Coordinate with colleagues across programs to achieve maximum Program and organizational impact
Monitor and ensure GrantLab's compliance with grant agreements and contracts
Develop and maintain client and organizational case files in server and CRM
Contribute to GrantLab's knowledge capture, creation and dissemination
Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, government or nonprofit administration, accounting, finance, etc.) is preferred. Post-graduate degree in a relevant field is strongly desired
Minimum seven (7) years of experience in nonprofit consulting and/or administration
Deep understanding of nonprofit organizations, including operations, program design and management, and/or governance
Proven project management skills with the ability to manage budgets, timelines and deliverables
Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly communicate sensitive information with discretion and present complex topics for a variety of audiences
Demonstrate comfort and confidence in presenting to groups
Experience working with diverse or vulnerable populations is strongly preferred
Driven by a service and satisfaction ethos
Self-motivated, able to juggle simultaneous projects and competing priorities
Demonstrated passion and commitment to working in nonprofit or government sectors
Availability to work outside of traditional business hours, to travel locally, and to occasionally travel regionally and nationally
Preferably fluent in Spanish or other locally prevalent language

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $105,000 plus discretionary performance-based annual bonus up to 5% of salary. Final salary based on depth and breadth of experience and qualifications.

2 years experience installing network devices; this team is installing and de-installing wireless access points primarily. They are also working with network hardware such as switches and servers.
Experience working with cabling; specifically cat 5 and cat 6; the devices are all IP based. Working with cabling and understanding how to install it is crucial.
Experience with documentation in a ticketing system and excel spreadsheets for reporting; they are using a CA system. Documentation is a huge area for them since they are currently looking for process improvements and this is a key area for them to avoid redundancy in work. This way they can trace back to root cause analysis of previous issues.

What you will do:

ROLE of the POSITION
The IT Support Specialist provides technical assistance and support for IT resources to faculty and staff in the School of Nursing. VEG's Veterinary Technician Student Externship Program gives vet tech students hands-on experience in emergency medicine while working alongside our credentialed, emergency veterinary technicians. Students will focus on honing their emergency skills including obtaining patient vitals, processing laboratory samples, caring for hospitalized patients, triaging emerging cases, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment. **Qualifications**

* Network certifications are a plus.

Diagnose and troubleshoot a broad array of network, and other technical issues that would require a basic understanding of hardware and software.
Complete primary intake and initial triage of incoming calls.
