Under strict supervision, learns to perform the safe and efficient delivery of all cementing services including, but not limited to: cement testing at the laboratory; bulk and chemical handling, blending and sampling at the bulk plant and chemical warehouse; equipment maintenance and testing in the maintenance workshops; rigging-up, equipment preparation and pre-job checks, job calculations, bulk handling, cement and spacer mixing, QA/QC checks, post-job checks, ticketing and rigging down at the rig site. Learns how to develop the cement design that meet customer requirements and Halliburton's commercial expectations following Halliburton Management System procedures and using Halliburton simulation software. Learns to determine lab testing requirements and testing conditions, job preparation, and interpreting well site data for post job analysis. Learns how to tailor solutions to meet customer requirements and Halliburton's commercial expectations, considering both the price of the solution to the customer as well as the total cost to Halliburton to deliver it. Learns how to develop relationships with customers and professionally communicate solutions to generate additional business opportunities. Learns how to forecast chemical and casing equipment requirements such that orders are placed in sufficient time for deliveries to meet forecasted job dates. Learns how inventory is managed. Completion of an undergraduate degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline required. Passing the Technical Training Program is a requirement for promotion to the next position. This is an entry-level position.

If you are a looking for a professional opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our St. Louis, MO location, you will be a key team member helping to manage the technical aspects of manufacturing projects executed by Emerson’s North America Integration Center. This team manufactures turnkey process control equipment for industrial customers across North America. You will be help drive technical support for a portfolio of as many as 50-100 active projects or manufacturing orders at any given time.
As the Technical Execution Associate, YOU WILL:
• Provide support for project technical analysis and manufacturing support at the direction of operations management and the technical execution consultant.
• Interface with project managers to obtain necessary data and feedback in order to ensure complete technical compliance with Emerson engineering standards and customer specifications
• Interface with estimating team to help vet technical solutions for proposal activities
• Interface with engineering and design personnel to answer questions regarding constructability and assembly of specific designs and drawings
• Assist with typical project execution responsibilities including technical submittals and technical queries to customer contacts.
• Develop Bills of Material in the MRP system based upon drawings, estimates and customer documentation
• Provide support in creating new kits and subassemblies for use in standard product lines
• Support strategic initiatives for continuous improvement
• Provide technical support to both Project Managers and production managers as required for various project and manufacturing activities
• Coordination of activities surrounding customer or 3rd party inspector visits
WHO YOU ARE:
You manage uncertainty with confidence. You research initiatives and try new approaches. You think about multiple ways to get the same outcome. You identify the impacts or consequences of situations and escalate to the appropriate channels.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Two-year degree in technical field with three years experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of tools
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• BS in an engineering or technical field
• Experience in a manufacturing atmosphere using ERP/MRP such as Oracle or SAP
• Drive to understand how things work
