Role Overview
The Raytheon Technologies Researcher Center (RTRC) Infrastructure manager, will manage all aspects of the DT infrastructure at RTRC. This management will include oversight of third-party sysadmins, hardware obsolescence planning, software installation and patching. In addition, this role will work cooperatively with the Sr. Manger of RTRC Linux/HPC and the on-premises HPC infrastructure needs. This person must also be willing to get hands-on as needed. The candidate will report to the Sr. Manager of Digital Technology, RTRC.
The preferred candidate should be self-motivated, have a strong background and expert understanding of Enterprise IT Infrastructure. They must be able to work effectively in project-team environment with minimum supervision, focused on innovation and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Additional relevant skills and responsibilities include:
+ Responsible for all aspects of DT Infrastructure at RTRC - planning, deployment, support
+ Interface with RTX Corporate Infrastructure teams and coordinate Corporate driven projects
+ Support RTX/RTRC specific infrastructure: servers, networks, storage, data center, end user devices, foundational middleware and applications
