Salary Range is $18/hr.-$24/hr.
Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate and perform building and electrical inspections of solar, roofing, and electrical installations
- Verify installations were completed as designed by performing on site visits and Job Close Out documents
- Communicate with town officials and customers to schedule inspection dates
- Perform necessary work to pass inspection if corrections are needed and/or coordinate with technicians or subcontractors to complete the work
- Open electrical equipment, solar equipment, stage ladders, and any necessary requirements for the inspection.
- Use application-based platform to capture photos and upload to project management database
- Follow organization policies and procedures including OSHA requirements; Complete OSHA training as required
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- A minimum of one to three years of experience working on roofs required
- Ability for and no fear of working from ladders/scaffolding or working in confined spaces such as crawl spaces or attics, under mobile homes
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal and drug screen
- Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Certification

- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 8+ years construction experience with 4+ years in roadway/bridge inspection or a Civil Engineering degree and 3 year of road and bridge construction engineering and inspection experience.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Must have a Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
- Must obtain any required certifications and pass appropriate qualifications tests for the position in specified time frames

Inspection Technician Apprentice
The Inspection Apprentice duties are to assist the Lead Inspector in the inspection of various fire protection equipment including Life Safety and Fire Suppression Systems. This position requires someone who is mechanically inclined, self-motivated, customer service oriented and willing to follow direction.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform routine inspections, testing and services of life safety product lines • Handle low voltage wiring and corresponding devices for the operation of low voltage equipment • Common knowledge of hand tools but will provide training for required tools • Must comply with all company safety standard and existing company policies • Communicate and follow direction from Supervisor and/or Lead Inspector
Job Qualifications
+ Desires a career in fire protection
+ High School diploma or equivalent is required
+ Completion of one NICET level exam within the first 90 days of employment is requested
+ Experience with technology such as iPad, smartphone, etc.
+ Possess a valid driver's license; in accordance with Company policy
+ Clean appearance and reliable transportation in accordance with Company Health & Safety Pocketbook
+ Willing to pass post-offer drug screen, background and reference check
The pay rate for this position starts at $16-18/hour, depending on experience.
