This position provides end-user support (e.g., computer technical support, software application support, printer/scanner/copier support) to users on the Fayetteville main campus, the UADA Shult Agricultural Research & Extension Center, Research stations, and the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station headquarters and surrounding facilities. This position will support special projects related to start-up research projects that further the mission of UADA. This role will also assist with ITS Help Desk coverage, providing general end-user problem resolution for Division and University owned hardware and software.

Join Southwest Power Pool (SPP) this summer as an IT Intern and gain hands-on experience developing and supporting software that powers the financial operations of SPP's Market and Transmission services. As part of the IT Settlements Team, you'll:

Internship Overview
Duration: 10-12 weeks, full-time (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
Format: Onsite internship with rotations to various IT departments as needed
Compensation: Paid internship with housing available (if needed)
Engagement: Teaming activities and professional development opportunities outside of regular work hours
Capstone: Interns will deliver a final presentation showcasing lessons learned and knowledge gained
Key Responsibilities
IT Concepts & Tools: Gain hands-on experience with SPP's IT systems, tools, and software relevant to your role.
Project Work: Complete assignments under the direction of IT leads and supervisors, supporting areas such as stakeholder committees, settlements, data services, reliability systems, market services, and IT support.
Teamwork & Collaboration: Contribute technical support to help project groups meet critical deadlines.

College student entering their senior year working toward a bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field
3.0 GPA or higher
Interest in programming, software development, and IT systems

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is a 2026 summer internship in our Engineering department. The intern will support the systems team by helping to digitalize the current ground test results performed on aircraft and thus acquiring practical experience through direct involvement in ongoing operations. Furthermore, the intern may engage in activities and events aimed at promoting networking within the Dassault Falcon Jet community and among peers, thereby strengthening professional relationships and fostering effective team collaboration.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
* Understand the current ground test procedures
* Provide a digital means to record ground test procedure
* Develop a database to store and evaluate the ground test results
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
