During your externship, internship, or practicum, students will be eligible to extern at one of our ten Indiana practices, with a focus on either general practice, emergency, or low-cost community care.
Students will improve technical and diagnostic skills including phlebotomy, catheter placement, intubation, surgical preparation, radiology placement and wound management, while working alongside veterinarians and highly skilled technical staff. Additionally, our externs receive insight into client communication, triage and diagnostic interpretation, and diagnostic decision making.
Externs will also be able to attend monthly educational workshops taught by Crystal Schaeffer, Director of Technician Development, or another member of our development team. We are committed to our staff's continued education and growth, and these workshops are currently only available to staff and externs of Noah's Animal Hospitals. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the first point of contact for end users, providing technical support for IT networks, hardware, software, and related equipment.
Manage and resolve Help Desk tickets and assigned projects promptly, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while recording, tracking and documenting progress through resolution.
Perform regular maintenance on local and remote IT equipment, including PC imaging, deployment, phone system upkeep, and software upgrades.
Monitor and test system performance, preparing and delivering performance statistics and reports as needed. .
Work with IT infrastructure vendors (e.g., ISPs, support agencies) to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
Create and maintain IT system documentation, user guides, and support procedures; assist in developing and implementing standards and processes to support Information Technology projects and initiatives.
Contribute to IT projects across IMMI locations as directed by IT leadership and provide occasional after-hours or on-call support for critical issues, outages, or global business needs as part of a rotating schedule
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Enterprise Technology, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in IT support or related roles.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills with exceptional attention to detail. .
Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, Active Directory, user account management, Help Desk ticketing systems, and phone-based support for global remote users.

The internships are temporary summer positions that last for 12 CONTINUOUS weeks beginning in May or June 2026. Each science intern will be assigned a project affording the opportunity to actively contribute to the Tech Services Manufacturing Sciences (TSMS) or Quality organizations, building a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, and the role scientists play in creating solutions for Eli Lilly and Company. These roles include areas such as science and technology, direct process support, as well as analytical laboratory support. This intern position exposes one to the technology, science, and regulatory requirements for making commercialized life-saving medicine in therapeutic areas including: diabetes, oncology, and endocrinology.
Quality Assurance: Develops and audits systems to ensure quality of medicine is achieved every time. Expert on production science and compliance to solve manufacturing challenges and support technological improvements.
Quality Control: Performs critical analytical testing to confirm consistent product quality. Evaluates and investigates testing results, as well as develops expertise to improve testing methods.
Technical Services Manufacturing Science: Oversees and develops scientific knowledge of the processes for making medicine. Analyzes data and performs routine data monitoring to lead process improvements and identify trends.
Interns will interact with other engineering, manufacturing, and science professionals, including Lilly senior management. Professional development and social events will be held throughout the summer.
