What you will do:

* Work directly with our industry leading Sales Account Managers and customers.

Compensation Information:
Pay Range: $21.00 - 30.00

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.

Tech Aide
Technical Internship Job In Las Vegas, NV
Rate $15.00 hour
Assist department in the general duties performed daily in the department. Transport patients from the front desk, gives patients directions for exam, fills out paper work for procedures and chaperons exams when necessary. Energetic and self-motivated. Work in fast-paced environment preparing patients for tests. Must be detail oriented, have ability to multi-task along with good communication and organizational skills and ability to follow instructions. Must be able to spend a majority of time on feet with a considerable amount of walking and able to carry medical records and transport patients. Will access computer when necessary to scan and verify appointment times for patients. May perform other job related duties as necessary for the efficient operation of SDMI.
Job Duties:
· Escort patients (by walking or wheelchair) from admitting area to waiting room. Get them changed, give them paperwork and when applicable, prescreen (questions for CT) and start drinking.
· Any employee who discovers, is directly involved in or is responding to an event/occurrence/risk is required to complete or direct the completion of an occurrence report within 24 hours of event/occurrence/risk.
· My job performance, including current competencies will be reviewed by my supervisor on a periodic basis. If my job performance/ current competencies are not (or continue to not be) at required level this could result in additional training and/or disciplinary action.
· Log in patient on schedule.
· Check for referral and disperse paperwork in Tech Area.
· Scan paperwork.
· Take patients (by walking or wheelchair) to other departments if having additional tests along with correct paperwork; make copies of paperwork where applicable.
· Print out schedule and paperwork in advanced. Paperwork must be checked 2 days in advance.
· Make phone calls to confirm next day's appointment.
· Order forms and office supplies when needed; follow-up on forms order until received.
· Keep waiting rooms and changing rooms neat; pick-up gowns, etc.
· Assist techs with patients when needed; getting on & off table, escorting back to waiting room, getting wheelchair if patient needs assistance.
· Help patients that need to reschedule and escorting back to admitting if refund is due.
· Shred on daily basis if possible.
· Escorting patients in SDMI wheelchair to front, sometimes to front curb and/or handicap parking.
· Put in request to File Room to obtain reports and/or films from other facilities for Techs.
· Oral communication skills, ability to give concise instructions and information to the patient and visitors, and ability to communicate with people of various backgrounds and education levels under direction of Technologist and/or Radiologist.
· Patience, tact and courtesy to handle patients, visitors and doctors in an appropriate manner.
· Effectively use of telephone and computer systems/programs.
· Exhibit knowledge and understanding of exams performed in assigned modality and the ability to explain as needed to the patient.
· Notify Technologist of any information relating to patient and or their inappropriate care.
MINIMUM SKILLS, ABILITY AND REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be a High school graduate or equivalent. Previous medical experience preferred.
· Submit retypes form when necessary.
· Skill in organizing time to accommodate changes in workload and assignments in order to complete tasks in a timely manner.
· Skill to pay attention to details and accuracy in completing tasks.
· Utilizes supplies and equipment effectively, as well as cleaning and disinfecting.
· Respond positively to changes in assignments and priorities.
· Work as an effective team member with co-workers and other personnel.

· Must know fire and evacuation plan and electrical safety.
· Comply with Universal Protection standards.

· Take full responsibility for all functions within job description and assures that all functions are completed before leaving SDMI at the end of the shift. Communicate effectively when follow up is needed.

As the Regional Technology Specialist, you will:
Be an integral part of Biosense Webster's US Field Sales & Service group reporting to a New Technology Manager (NTM), and closely partnering with, the Regional Business Director (RBDs) and Territory Managers (TMs).
Under the general direction of the manager and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, you will focus on:
* Assessing and increasing the clinical competency development for the assigned workgroup's field organization, and assessing team members' clinical skills, identifying internal or external resources to fill training gaps and monitor/track improvement to a level of certification and beyond.
* Launching new technologies; and have accountability for achieving geographically aligned business objectives. Through this support, they will be a strategic partner to implement emerging education related to new technologies, organizational directives and to quantifiably improve their workgroup's level of clinical competence. The end result should be that Biosense Webster personnel are recognized as best in industry for their commercial, technical and clinical competencies and that new technology is introduced flawlessly.
* May also be accountable to provide technical and clinical product support to Electrophysiology (EP) physicians and laboratory staff for BWI diagnostic and therapeutic catheters and systems to enable practitioners to perform advanced cardiac ablation procedures.
* Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with physicians & EP laboratory staff in order to identify and foster interest in new products or product indications to grow and develop the company's product and technology utilization.
* Partner with Territory Managers, Field Service Engineers and Field Management to ensure alignment and coordination of activities to meet business objectives.
* Work in coordination with the NTM and Global Education & Training team to accurately assess the clinical skills of assigned BWI clinical team members and establish a prioritized clinical development plan leading to continual growth and business goal attainment.
* Facilitate the development of the assigned BWI clinical team members to meet the requirements of the certification and ongoing clinical development process.
* Develop & execute a workgroup-wide certification plan that brings 100% of the group to the targeted level, and accurately assesses the clinical skills of assigned per diem clinical support and manages them through the per diem certification process. Measure, and is accountable, to quantifiable learning and growth in their assigned workgroup.
* Partner with Sales and Service leaders to execute content for emerging and targeted areas of growth. Partner with various stakeholders including Sales, Marketing and Global Education and Training to execute continual education of all sales and clinical field personnel.
* Provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians and EP/IC Lab Staff on the effective use of BWI's systems and catheter equipment (e.g., The CARTO System and all appropriate software modules) during case procedures within an assigned geography, and in a manner that leads to meeting and exceeding business goals. Educate assigned customers on all BWI products to optimize effective usage by providing technical and clinical information and in-service training. Share best practices to increase value for customers.
* Use and coach aligned workgroups on consultative selling techniques to identify potential sales opportunities within the account. Create awareness of BWI solutions and facilitates Territory Manager (TM) and Clinical Account Specialist (CAS) contact with the key decision makers to drive incremental business.
* Drive collaboration and maintains consistent, open lines of communication across the assigned responsibilities with the local team/Pod (i.e. TM and other CAS), as well as the support team (i.e. other EP/Ultrasound CAS, FSE, RBD/KAM) and other internal and external partners.
* Develop and share best practices with US Field Sales and Service colleagues and internal partners.
* Develop and grow mutually beneficial customer relationships within and beyond the EP/IC lab, including, but not limited to physicians, nurses and technicians, clinical and hospital administrators and staff.
* Stay current on company products instructions for use (IFU), best practices and technical troubleshooting, as well as relevant scientific clinical literature and new product information.
* Prioritize and appropriately respond to requests in a high-stress environment. Maintain composure and problem-solving focus during stressful interactions.
* Engage in diagnostic dialogue with multiple internal and external business partners and stakeholders. Formulate solutions based on dialogue and input gained during session.
* Respond daily to requests by email and voicemail from customers, practitioners and partners. Perform administrative work, including CAS Field Visit Letters, training summaries, account documentation, compliance training requirements, expense reporting, and Company system input.
* As required, respond to requests for case support to customers for the operation and use of BWI equipment. Set appointments, present clinical and technical information, and be present to ensure optimal equipment usage.
* Communicate with counterparts, supervisor, and business partners to ensure efficiency and open lines of communications.
* Maintains Safe Fleet standards according to Company guidelines.
* Communicate business related issues or opportunities to the next management level.
* Ensure subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition.
* Ensure personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
* Perform other duties assigned as needed.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $94,000 to $151,800.
This position is eligible for a company car through the Company's FLEET program.

Manages the PC/Mac Lab including assisting faculty, staff, and students with digital media.
Provides lead worker direction to hourly employees, part-time employees, and work-study students as assigned by Director of Technical Support Services or in response to the Network and Technical Support Services Team priorities.
Provides IT systems operation training to other technicians and IT personnel.
Performs administrative tasks as assigned for device and application management systems.
May be assigned Smart classroom or video streaming technology support duties.
May serve as a lead technician within the technician team to ensure that IT systems are maintained, operational and performing efficiently or to ensure that site-based IT teams are working together effectively with oversight from the Director of Technical Support Services.
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
