Primary Purpose: Under general guidance from the section Senior Director, this position devises and manages projects and other activities necessary to meet NEI member goals in the areas of physical and cyber security, access authorization, fitness-for-duty, and emergency preparedness. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: The incumbent is responsible for management and coordination of activities related to assigned initiatives and issues being addressed by NEI. The primary focus will be on projects initiated and managed within the NSIP section but may also include other activities undertaken to support the goals of the Technical and Regulatory Services Division. The incumbent is responsible for defining success paths to achieve NSIP and member goals, identifying challenges/obstacles and assessing options to overcome them, and making in-progress schedule and work adjustments as necessary. The incumbent will coordinate work on assigned projects and activities with appropriate stakeholder organizations and individuals. In addition, it is preferred that the candidate have experience leading a fleet organization (i.e., with two or more sites) in at least one of the functional areas listed above.
