Primary Purpose:

Job Specifications:

In addition, it is preferred that the candidate have experience leading a fleet organization (i.e., with two or more sites) in at least one of the functional areas listed above.
The ability to obtain a safeguards information access authorization (SGIA) and a national security clearance (e.g., NRC L or Q access authorization or SECRET or TOP Secret security clearance) is desired.
Knowledge:
An applicant must have sufficient knowledge of the NRC's approach to regulation, including the regulatory frameworks applicable to the NSIP section portfolio, rulemaking process, the Reactor Oversight Process, generic communications, and public meeting process. It is also desirable for the applicant to have a similar level of knowledge concerning the FEMA Technological Hazards Division and Radiological Emergency Preparedness Program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Support the Federal Program Manager with tracking the program's work and progress.
Provide subject matter expertise and support to the development and review of policy, technical, planning, operational and other documents related to the program and the interagency nuclear forensics mission.
Critically review, assess and report on technical efforts relating to the program, including reports and deliverables from the National Laboratories, proposed and ongoing technical capability improvements and Research & Development, gap analyses, and scientific studies and reports.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

PSI seeks a Senior SBCC Advisor to lead PSI's work under the USAID Sustaining Epidemic Control through Unified Prevention (SECURE) Activity, a five-year initiative focused on providing person-centered, evidence-based HIV prevention, testing, and treatment services across Lesotho. The project aims to address and close critical HIV prevention and treatment gaps, working in collaboration with the Government of Lesotho and leveraging past successes to advance a sustainable, equitable response to the epidemic. This person will oversee the scale-up of SBCC services across the SECURE consortium.
The Senior Advisor will be responsible for leading successful implementation of SBCC workstreams throughout the project lifecycle from start-up to close-out. Accountable for delivery of all aspects of SBCC activities and oversight and supervision of project staff. Lead departmental/functional strategy development and work planning and supervise the team responsible for implementation.
