Job Summary
The Data ProductManager will be responsible for planning, prioritizing, and breaking down data requirements for the Print software platform. This involves working closely with business stakeholders, software and data engineers, data scientists, designers and others in order to understand pain points, develop data strategies and build a successful ecosystem of data products. It'll involve crafting roadmaps that will help build a next-generation data platform for maximum impact across all HP business units. Role includes managing data as an asset, motivating and launching data-driven products that will ensure our customers' success in creating technology that makes life better for everyone, everywhere. Responsibilities
Facilitate and partner with business and technical leaders to develop value propositions for data science-driven products that help achieve HP's strategic initiatives across multiple business units.
Collaborate with solution product teams to gather the voice of the customer, identify needs & create platform opportunities for data science to inform the delivery of rich, compelling user experiences.
Collaborate with data engineers & data analysts to match data sources, data quality needs, and data science technical requirements with desired business outcomes.
Develop use cases and roadmaps that build an ecosystem of data products and solutions that drive customer value with strong ROI.
Manage the data platform's end-to-end product and feature lifecycle, from strategic planning ideation to tactical execution implementation and stabilization.
Establish source-of-truth data products and dashboards that the entire company can use to answer their own product questions.
Manage solution engagement and onboarding, ensuring customer and partner success in using the data platform.
Communicate with scrum teams, program teams, management and senior executives about data product strategy, requirements, development and launch.
Maintain clear priorities and relentless execution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Define and monitor data platform performance metrics against goals.
Support data platform design and integration across adjacent platforms in HP.
Maintain deep expertise on the solution space, market environment and overall HP business strategies as they relate to data science activities.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in productmanagement, digital or software product development, or a related field.
