The Cloud Operations Technical Product Manager role is part of the Cloud Ecosystem team in Global Technology Infrastructure & Operations. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Operations and is responsible for driving the Operations cloud platform engineering outcomes, managing the agile product and process, and driving alignment with the Cloud Business Office and other Cloud Platform Engineering teams (DevOps and security).

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technology leader to help shape the transformation of infrastructure and operations products and services to the entire McDonalds environment.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Manages a strategically important technology product, and/or suite of products with significant business impact. Owns the definition of the product(s) roadmap.

Guides a team of technical product managers expected to broadly influence across a large portion of the organization or with a charter to innovate/disrupt a strategically important domain.

Maintains a strategic focus yet retains an appropriate level of hands-on management. Partners with business leaders, technical product managers, and / or architects to determine the long-term viability of systems/products, from business and technology standpoints.

Communicates ideas effectively, verbally and in writing, to a wide range of audiences, including Directors and VPs. Fosters a constructive dialogue, harmonizes discordant views, and leads the resolution of issues.

Decomposes significantly complex problems into straight-forward solutions. Consistently brings strong, data-driven business, and technical judgment to decisions.

Identifies core problems or opportunities within business processes. Understands the root cause and impacts for the project and other teams.

Removes bottlenecks to enable your team(s) to work independently. Drives team members to proactively identify gaps and opportunities (e.g., services, workflows, tooling) within or between markets and other parts of the organization.

Invests time to coach junior technical product managers to refine their capabilities and close skill gaps. Works closely with technical product managers and leads by example.

Responsible for the “Build, Test, Deploy” and “Operate & Manage” capabilities within the operations cloud platform engineering functions.

Responsible for codifying standards and guardrails, packaging, self-service, automation and continuous improvement of the cloud platform operations.

Primary duties include but are not limited to thefollowing:

• Use qualitative and quantitative research techniques to deeply empathize with and understand the needs of our users
• Collaborate with product design and engineering to craft exceptional product experiences that delight our members and Health Advisors
• Rally your team behind a compelling product vision and strategy, providing them with the necessary context to move fast and make high-quality decisions
• Own the product life cycle, from the high-level down to the details, and from ideation to implementation, supporting the team to deliver results
• Work cross-functionally to manage expectations, communicate and coordinate releases, and support the adoption of new products and functionality

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of work experience in product management with consumer-facing technology products
• Results-oriented, with a track record of successfully delivering measurable results for users and the business
• A passion for using product discovery techniques to identify user problems and solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to build trust with engineers, designers, and stakeholders
• Ability to learn quickly, prioritize effectively, and work independently
• Data-driven; able to interpret data, set up and run experiments, and ensure new functionality is built to assess impact
• Healthcare experience preferred

**Location** : Ideally targeting candidates in Ohio, but open to other areas \(remote role\)

**Qualifications**

+ BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field highly preferred
+ 3\+ years of experience minimum
+ Strong communication skills \(verbal and written\)\. Must be able to communicate with senior leaders, as well as cross\-functionally
+ Technology product management experience required \(ideally looking for an individual who has owned the lifecycle from start to finish/delivery\)
+ Experience with a technology refresh and/or platform modernization highly preferred \(internal tools especially, versus simply customer\-facing\)
+ Strong problem solving skills required

+ Full management and ownership of the day to day tactical operations of innovation technology strategy \(freight payment audit system\)\.
+ Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems\. Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives
+ Completes work independently receives general guidance on new projects
+ Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives
+ May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
