Job Purpose
Developer Relations Technical Solutions Engineer
As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will
Work with third party developers to build fantastic apps that solve real world problems Answer questions around Clover's REST APIs & SDKs (Windows, iOS, Android, etc.) Provide examples and demo apps that showcase our features and best practices Build tools that simplify app development and support This role is supported by a team of Partner Success Managers, Technical Writers, and Squad Engineers who help provide in-depth technical knowledge in a responsive and close knit environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Math, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent degree and experience) Demonstrable programming skills and technical support experience are acceptable in lieu of a BS in Math or Computer ScienceCandidates must be comfortable writing simple code snippets, and be conversant in simple data structure and algorithm choices Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills Competency in one of these languages: Python, C#, Javascript, NodeJS and/or JavaPrevious experience in software development or software consulting and support

Minimum qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

+ 3 years of experience on Android/iOS Enterprise opportunities while working with customers, partners, and engineering/solution teams

+ Experience with Android OS Architecture (e.g., Android OS Stack, Linux Kernel, ADB, and Android Enterprise capabilities).

+ Experience with enterprise solutions (e.g., offerings in iOS).

Preferred qualifications:

+ Experience working with Android ecosystem partners, including enterprise mobility management, carriers, and direct customers deploying enterprise mobility solutions.

+ Experience in Android Play Store/App management, security, and privacy, including Virtual Private Network considerations for Enterprise deployments.

+ Knowledge of mobile enterprise solutions, including security/privacy aspects.

+ Excellent collaborative skills to effectively understand and respond to customer technical requirements.

Google's Pixel Carrier Engineering team helps solve mobile technology problems. Our team provides technical solutions for opportunities spanning diverse customer bases, including Telecommunications and Direct Support. We apply our detailed technical understanding of the Mobile Enterprise space across different domains (e.g., App deployment, EMM, Android platform/OS, Security framework, and Privacy) to support, guide, and architect solutions for Enterprise customers. We also help shape Google device's Enterprise roadmap by working closely with our Product and Engineering teams to strengthen Pixel enterprise offerings and customer base.

In this role, you will use broad technical knowledge across the Wireless products (e.g., smartphones, devices, etc.), industry landscape (e.g., carrier and infrastructure), Enterprise (e.g., Enterprise Mobility Management, and Android OS), and Network Security to support Enterprise Sales/Business Development teams.

+ Deliver the value proposition of Android in the Enterprise, including the deployment of best practices to customers working with Google's Sales and Business Development teams.

+ Address customers' queries on salient and unique differentiation of Android enterprise, including Android Security and Privacy, Google's Enterprise deployment for configuring and managing in-house and third-party app rollouts.

+ Engage with Android ecosystem partner field teams while demonstrating to partners and customers the user experience of Android Enterprise.
