Credentials including being a self-starter with good time management, planning & organizational skills, team oriented and commitment to detail recommended. Must be able to lift 70lbs. Basic computer skills with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must have or will be receiving a High School Diploma or equivalent. Willingness to work overtime and some weekends when needed. Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate). Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Installation of a variety of security systems, audio-visual systems and phone systems for Tri-City clients. Work to include installation low-voltage cable runs, cameras, access control hardware, projectors, speakers, intercoms, video conferencing, management servers, and phone systems. Performing preventative maintenance and repair as per a client maintenance agreement and/or warranty. Assisting in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing systems and/or equipment. Document all service-related activities in company database keeping up to date service history. Ensure timely completion of assigned service orders. Performing additional assignments per management's direction Position may require technician to participate in an on-call rotation schedule.
