Technical supervisor job description

The Supervisor plays a key role in an integrated team responsible for account specific technical implementation of digital campaigns including display trafficking, video trafficking, research partner coding, tagging, etc. of digital media campaigns. The Supervisor is responsible for contributing to the design, development, and execution of campaign operational process with both internal and external contacts to ensure digital media plans meet client specified expectations.
Role Objectives:

Oversee global Ad Tech Associates and support the media and creative teams to activate digital campaigns (display, video, social, mobile)

Co-lead strategic conversations with client and media teams around technology integrations that can improve efficiency, range or quality of data, or support new media

Support Associates in the basic aspects of the trafficking process, including connecting placements to creatives, setting up consistent configurations, and collecting clean data. Lead the more complex aspects of trafficking, including Floodlight tags, DMP integrations, network upgrades, and more

Lead conversations with the media team on ways to work faster and smarter.

Collaborate with fellow Ad Tech Managers on process to prevent errors, to ensure consistency, to create a QA checklist

Collaborate with vendors on behalf of creative agencies when troubleshooting is required

Become a Subject Matter Expert on any number of technologies; keep yourself and the team up to date on the ever-evolving media landscape through regular research and writing POVs

You may work across multiple clients, in which case we want you to share the best practices of each with the rest of the group in order to improve our output and standardize our work

Assist clients in technology tests such as verification partners, and mobile ad servers

Be responsible for holding media teams and creative agencies to execution timelines

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Safe operation of all equipment Compliance with the Quality Management System - including but not limited to design documentation and control, process documentation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and training Balanced Scorecard (BSC) alignment of objectives and performance management of direct reports including manual and CNC machinists, machine builders, CAD designer.Secure, train, mentor and advance machinists for all areas of responsibility Daily management of resources - scheduling, time reporting, performance management, selection and management of outside service providers.Support staff, other engineers, operations managers, purchasing, receiving, finance personnel Manage supply and inventory of raw materials and equipment needed by the machine shop Operational Effectiveness to meet internal customer requirements for designs, tooling and equipment Design and fabrication of tooling, fixtures, machined components Design documentation of complex equipment Project Management (timeline and budget) Preventive Maintenance of all assigned equipment Efficient communication with internal customers relative to schedules and deliverables Determination of internal vs external sourcing to meet capability, cost and time requirements

Education and Experience Requirements
7-10 years of experience in a design, machine shop, machine building organization Demonstrated leadership capability and/or high potential to drive a high performing organization Technical capability to design, build and debug CAD/CAM, tooling, fixtures.Associates or bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field is highly desirable Certifications in design, machining, welding, project management, resource management will be considered

The Technology Governance Team was established to address one of the Global IT key pillars - Keep Systems Up and Running. This group will deliver greater technology governance through active management of the US technology investments and continuous improvement of all elements of the US technology platform.

This specific role within the team offers an individual the opportunity to continue to transform the Technology Investment financial and analytics platform. This role is responsible for the US Technology accounting structure, monthly owner operator technology investment (Billing) processes, managing global technology chargebacks and operational services including contract management, accounts payable support and managing special projects related to technology finance. It provides an opportunity to develop skills in the areas of reporting, data management, communications, technology/financial systems, influencing and building key relationships. The individual will develop a solid understanding of the U.S. business and how technology is enabling the growth strategy and will participate in efforts to drive management efficiencies across U.S. Technology.

Key customers include multi-functional teams across the entire Global Technology organization, US and Global Finance, US and Global Tech Strategy, VMO and Global Planning and Alignment.
Core Responsibilities:

Maintain the P&L and Balance Sheet accounting structure to support US Opex and Capex technology spend

Responsible for reconciling the $150M technology investment balance sheet

Partner with global finance on assessing technology product lifecycles and managing fixed asset ledger

Maintain the process for invoicing technology investment including reviewing new technology deployment reporting and adjusting fees as necessary

Responsible for contract review and approval process in partnership with Legal, Vendor Management Office (VMO) and Global Workforce Management GWS

Maintaining the relationship with McDonald's global finance organization regarding the technology chargeback process

Responsible for ensuring all technology invoices are processed on time using McDonald's systems

Partner with global tax department to resolve any changes to state technology tax laws that may impact technology investment (billing)

SME on all special projects that require technology finance expertise
