Key Responsibilities:
Application Performance & Server Capacity (Primary Focus)
Partner with Application Developers to verify new applications meet performance expectations without impacting existing systems.
Design, build, and monitor application performance tests across Windows-based servers.
Analyze system metrics, test results, and performance trends to identify bottlenecks.
Recommend changes related to application design, hardware resources, and architecture.
Deliver capacity and performance reports for systems management and business leaders.
Monitor changes in systems architecture and how they affect performance.
Define, tune, and maintain thresholds for automated performance alerts.
Identify capacity risks and provide forward-looking projections.
Network & Voice/Telephony Support (Secondary Focus)
Support day-to-day LAN, WAN, and Wireless operations and maintenance.
Provide Level 1/2 support for network connectivity, VoIP, telephony, and client hardware/software issues.
Assist with installation and configuration of phones, routers, LAN switches, WAPs, telephony hardware, and appliances.
Perform routine network health checks, validation testing, and incident resolution.
Assist with service packs, firmware updates, hotfixes, and system patching.
Maintain documentation for network/voice infrastructure and support tickets.
Manage device inventory, RMAs, equipment returns, and tracking.
Support backup systems, diagnostic tools, and monitoring platforms (TeamTrack, SolarWinds, etc.).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
3-6 years experience in server performance, capacity analysis, or application performance engineering.
Strong expertise with Windows-based servers, metrics, and performance tools.
Hands-on experience in LAN/WAN/Wireless network environments.
Knowledge of telephony, VoIP, and enterprise voice systems (Cisco, Avaya, etc.).
Experience with troubleshooting, ticketing systems, and ops support.
Strong analytical skills for performance data interpretation and reporting.
Ability to work 100% onsite.

WAGE INFORMATION
Target salary range: $92,000 - $117,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
