Role Description Form Energy is seeking a Night Shift Training Technician to join our team at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV, supporting the Anode and GDE lines. In this role, you will be critical to the success of our production workforce by ensuring all Production Associates are fully trained, proficient, and compliant with all production processes and safety standards. Your primary responsibilities will be to deliver engaging and hands-on training, develop and maintain training content and work instructions, and continuously assess the effectiveness of the delivered training. You will work closely with Production Leadership and cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Quality) to ensure training materials reflect the latest process improvements and quality standards. This opportunity is based out of the Greater Pittsburgh Area at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV. What you'll do: Training Delivery & Facilitation: Conduct engaging, hands-on, and classroom-based training for new and current Production Associates on all standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety protocols. Mentor and coach Production Associates on the floor to ensure proper technique, quality adherence, and efficient execution of tasks. Coordinate training schedules with Production Supervisors and Leads to minimize impact on production goals. Content Development & Maintenance: Develop, write, and maintain clear, user-friendly, and technically accurate work instructions, SOPs, and visual aids (e.g., photos, videos) for all production processes. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to capture and document process changes, updates, and improvements immediately upon implementation. Ensure all training materials comply with company policies, safety regulations , and quality management systems. Training Effectiveness & Improvement: Develop and implement assessment tools (e.g., practical exams, written tests) to measure the effectiveness of training and ensure employee competency. Track and report on employee training progress and certification status. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on training content and delivery to enhance operational efficiency. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all training emphasizes a safety-first mindset and strict adherence to all OSHA and company safety policies. Help identify potential hazards and train associates on appropriate preventative measures. What you'll bring: Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Proven experience in a training, mentoring, or instructional role, preferably on a factory floor. Experience with developing and maintaining technical documentation (SOPs, Work Instructions). Technical & Instructional Aptitude: Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and understand complex production processes and equipment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Familiarity with various training methodologies and adult learning principles. Problem-Solving & Detail Orientation: Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail in documenting processes and tracking training data. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve immediate training or content issues as they arise.
