Job Summary
The IT Support Specialist II serves as a key member of the IT Client Support Services team, reporting directly to the Manager of IT Client Support Services. This advanced technical position is responsible for delivering high-level support to faculty and staff in the effective use of technology, encompassing both hardware and software systems. The role involves diagnosing and resolving complex technical and procedural issues, often through hands-on training and one-on-one support sessions. The specialist ensures the stability, accessibility, and optimal configuration of assigned systems and components, while adhering to established guidelines and best practices. This position requires a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to creatively analyze problems and implement effective resolutions. Responsibilities
Significant Duties & Responsibilities include: Create a positive customer support experience and build strong relationships through deep problem understanding, ensuring timely resolution or escalation, communicating promptly on progress, and handling customers with a professional attitude.; Bring innovative ideas to the teaching and learning aspect to higher education.; Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems; develop technical solutions.; Provide advanced support on various software packages, hardware and peripheral devices.; Install, upgrade, configure and perform maintenance to software, hardware, and peripheral equipment following design specifications.; Provide training on technology hardware to meet the needs of faculty and students for a successful teaching and learning experience.; Provide support and training on software, to include all classroom and lab software, and all video conferencing tools available to CSU.; Test and monitor software, hardware, and peripheral equipment to evaluate use, effectiveness, and adequacy of product for end-users.; Inspect, configure, and prepare equipment for delivery to end-users.; Perform remote access to resolve technical issues.; Hardware Life Cycle Management: Manage end user hardware, classroom hardware, and non-academic space hardware; forecasting end of life cycle, refreshes, and keeping 5-year refresh plan up to date.; Inventory Management: Help manage and maintain inventory of devices across campus.; Maintain complete records of daily activities, problems, and remedial action taken in a ticketing database.; Provide users with ongoing technical support by developing documentation.; Provide timely response and resolution or escalation to serviceable trouble tickets.; Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications include: A bachelor's degree and 2-5 years applicable experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the required skills.
Proposed Salary
The proposed annualized salary range for this position is $40,253 - 43,784 and includes full benefits.

Job Details:
This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

Summary of This Role

The Client Support Specialist will provide community-based support services for child, adolescent, or adult clients. These services, primarily offered in the community, aim to help consumers and their families achieve and maintain rehabilitative support. Provide support to enhance natural and age-appropriate support, development of interpersonal, community coping and functional skills.
Assistance in the acquisition of skills for the client to self-recognize emotional triggers and to self-manage behaviors.
Assist in personal development, school performance, work performance and functioning in social and family environments through teaching skills/strategies to ameliorate the effect of behavioral symptoms.

Assist client in developing a safety plan that individual can utilize in the event of a mental health crisis, which identifies crisis numbers, as well as natural supports that individual could utilize to ensure their safety.
Update contact information, as needed, within the individual's profile in EMR, so other mental health providers can keep in contact with the individual.
Attend staff meetings, as required, for continuing education, to learn of changes in policies, and to staff cases.
Staff any concerns, regarding individual's mental health symptoms, basic needs, compliancy with treatment services or changes in insurance status with Program Director, Clinical Supervisor, and/or medical staff.
Qualifications
Qualifications include a High School Diploma with 2 years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, or a related mental health field.

The specialist collaborates with HQ and local teams to maintain a smooth work environment and enhances productivity and security by providing end-user support and technical training.
Job Description
1. Infrastructure & Systems Support
Install, configure, and maintain hardware/software including servers, PCs, laptops, printers, and scanners
Manage server room environment (UPS power, temperature/humidity control)
Apply OS and software patches and security updates
Monitor system performance and respond quickly to incidents
Operate and inspect backup systems; provide basic data recovery support
Support SQL database operations and application maintenance
2. Network & Security
Operate LAN/WAN and wireless network equipment and respond to network issues
Support network infrastructure changes and security equipment operations
Assist with firewall operations and policy updates (in alignment with HQ/security team guidelines)
Manage VPN and remote access environments
Monitor and support CCTV and access control systems
3. Application & Manufacturing Systems
Support ERP, MES, and shop-floor automation systems
Manage field devices (CIMON HMI, PDA, barcode printers, etc.)
Support installation and deployment of new software
Handle user requests and troubleshoot application issues
Maintain application operation logs and support audits
4. User & Technical Support
Create and deactivate employee accounts
Provide IT support for office and production employees
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Create IT manuals and assist with user training
Manage IT equipment procurement, issuance, returns, and disposal
5. Compliance & Documentation
Maintain IT asset records
Prepare incident logs and backup inspection reports
Ensure compliance with security policies
Support IT audit preparation and basic documentation
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
3-5 years of experience in IT operations and support
Preferred: Experience supporting manufacturing environments and ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle)
Must be fluent in both Korean and English to collaborate with HQ
Technical Skills
Basic experience with Windows Server and SQL Database operations
Experience improving or customizing internal applications (e.g., C#, Python)
Experience supporting network devices and firewalls
Basic experience with Microsoft 365 and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
Experience with backup/recovery and security patch management
Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Effective communication and teamwork
Ability to take initiative and coordinate tasks with other departments
Flexibility and responsibility to adapt to a manufacturing environment
Key Competencies
IT infrastructure operation and management

Scope of Services
The Independent Contractor-Family Support Services will provide family support services designed to improve family functioning and child well-being. Services may include, but are not limited to:
Coordinating with community providers to facilitate comprehensive care and referrals for families
Participating in collaborative case planning and case review meetings, when requested
Delivering case management activities such as:
Supervised visitation
Parent aide support
Behavioral Aide
Transportation
Crisis intervention
Advocacy and linkage to services (including drug screening facilitation if applicable)
Completing in-home visits to monitor progress and provide ongoing support for families involved with DFCS.
Offering parenting education and modeling positive parenting strategies
Coordinating with external professionals (e.g., schools, therapists, case managers) to ensure service alignment
Maintaining documentation of services rendered, including case notes and service logs, in accordance with agency expectations
Providing transportation services related to the family service plan (e.g., visitation, appointments) as appropriate
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Criminal Justice)
or
High School Diploma/GED with at least 5 years of verifiable experience in the field
Strong understanding of family systems, trauma-informed care, and community resources
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance
Willingness to complete required background checks and contractor onboarding
Deliverables
Timely submission of service logs, progress updates, and reports
Accurate documentation aligned with billing and reporting standards
Services provided in accordance with contract terms, including hourly or task-based invoicing
