Position Summary
The IT Help Desk position is a full-time, non-exempt position located in Grand Junction. This position, while based out of Grand Junction, will perform duties for the entire Bank. This position will primarily focus on providing technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and guiding users through corrective steps.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact in providing help desk assistance to Bank staff.
Utilize ticketing system to track and provide support to users' tickets.
Respond to staff queries and provide resolution for issues related to PCs, phones, printers, etc. - resolution of these queries may be performed in person, over the phone, or via remote access.
Perform PC deployment - setting up new computers and/or systems, installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners, etc.
Troubleshoot, install, repair, and resolve issues related to desktop/laptop computers, phones, printers, etc.
Conduct branch visits (audits) on a periodic basis.
Develop training materials and procedures, implement/conduct training for all users in regard to computers, systems, hardware, peripheral equipment, etc.
Create/maintain departmental solution articles.
Process employee onboarding and offboarding.
Assist other IT staff as needed.
Provide quality customer service promptly and courteously at all times.
Follow established audit, security, and compliance guidelines and Bank policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations as well as internal policies.
Duties may be expanded on as experience and professional goals are achieved.
Required Knowledge and Expertise
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience desired.
Ability to work on a computer for extended hours at a time and ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, ability to lift 50 lbs.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Proven attention to detail.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Ability to travel to Aspen and Montrose locations as needed.
Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and anticipate potential problems before they arise.
Strict adherence to deadlines and strong problem-solving skills.
General understanding of the following applications is preferred: Windows Client/Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365.

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our company's dynamic team. As a Biomedical Equipment Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and safety of medical equipment at the VA. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks including preventive and corrective maintenance, incoming inspections, medical device security, equipment installations, electrical safety inspections, addressing hazard recalls, software repairs, and working with Cerner integration. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care through the proper functioning of medical equipment.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine preventive maintenance on a diverse range of medical equipment to ensure optimal functionality and extend equipment lifespan.
Conduct corrective maintenance by diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in medical devices, adhering to manufacturer's guidelines and technical specifications.
Carry out incoming inspections of new medical equipment to verify its compliance with safety standards, functionality, and accuracy.
Collaborate with the IT and cybersecurity teams to implement and maintain medical device security protocols, ensuring patient data confidentiality and protection against cyber threats.
Install, calibrate, and configure medical equipment, following manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.

Basic Qualifications
The Contractor key personnel shall meet one of the following basic qualifications, regardless of role in the services provided under this contract:
Experience within a medical center and Biomedical Engineering department
OR, Experience working in or with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA)
OR, Understanding of VISN, VA medical center, and Biomedical Engineering department operations
In addition to the basic qualifications, the Contractor key personnel shall meet the following role-specific qualifications based on the core functions and services each will be providing under this contract.
Role Specific Qualifications:
A two-year associate degree or higher in an applied science or equivalent military training.
Demonstrated competency to perform operational verification procedures, planned maintenance, and repair service on various medical equipment.
Understanding of regulatory agencies' requirements, industry regulatory requirements and International Standard Organization standards.
Familiarity with the setup and application of test equipment.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical literature, schematics, and drawings.
Level III Experience - A minimum of five years of hospital or healthcare experience performing medical equipment maintenance.

Supervision
Will directly supervise multiple technicians.
Will work under supervision of assigned Team Leader and Operations Manager.
Work with other Team Leaders on multiple projects in a cooperative manner.
Working Conditions
The majority of work will be performed in a hangar or shop environment
Work outside on the ramp on occasion
Varied positions in and around the aircraft.
Equipment Used
Personal hand tools supplied by the mechanic.
Electrical power tools such as sanders, saws, power drills, etc.
Sheet metal cutters, glue guns, and metal benders
Tugs, power carts and other engine powered equipment.
Spray booth and all related equipment.
