General Description Northeast Paving a division of Vinci Construction USA is seeking an IT SupportSpecialist I position on the Technology Team in Nashua, NH. The IT SupportSpecialist role involves providing end-user desktop support both remotely and in-person, handling Tier (1-2) support tickets, and working on technology implementation projects.
Key Duties
Create, review and triage support Tier (1-2) tickets on a timely basis
Project work related to the implementation of new technology tools.
Provide end-user desktop support via remote support tools or in person visits
Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and effectively with users to understand their issues, provide updates on ticket status, and verify their concerns are addressed promptly.
Install and configure new computers, monitors, and printers.
Assist with system administration tasks, including server upgrades, updates, patches, deployments, architecture review / design and general best practices
Create clear, concise process and system diagrams and other supporting documentation
Coordinate with vendors to execute software and firmware upgrades
Attend meetings as required and provides regular and accurate status information to project participants/department leadership -follow management guidance and adherence to policies
Assist with other projects and tasks as required
Identify issues requiring escalated support and route to the appropriate team or leadership.
Identify recurring or unique issues, develop solutions, and verify successful implementation.
Document and/or update documentation for identified issues, solutions, and procedures.
Train and/or mentor junior team members. Share knowledge and best practices.
Actively participate in team meetings and feedback sessions.

Education and Experience
3 + years of technical experience working with hardware/software

In a district-wide, strategic effort to address health inequities that interfere with academic success, the Boston Public Schools (BPS) Office of Health and Wellness (OHW), in collaboration with the Department of Social Work, and Health Services, receives funding from the Center for Disease Control for the Empowering Teens Through Health (ETTH) Grant. The ETTH grant aims to improve the behaviors and experiences of middle and high school students and reduce disparities in sexual risk behavior, substance use, experience of violence, poor mental health, and suicidality by supporting schools to deliver high-quality health education, increase access to needed health services, including behavioral and mental health services, create safe and supportive school environments.
Position Summary & Responsibilities:. The
GSA Support Consultant
will work within the BPS Health and Wellness Office and Department of Social Work to strengthen and/or expand BPS GSAs and promote LGBTQ+ initiatives district wide. This includes the following key responsibilities:
Support BPS Gender and Sexualities Alliances
Build capacity of middle and high school-based staff to advise and facilitate GSA meetings
Meet one on one with individual GSA advisors to provide best practices for facilitating a GSA, supporting LGBTQ+ students, and providing BPS-specific resources
Attend school-based GSA meetings as availability allows
Host monthly district-wide GSA Advisor Meetings
Connect GSA advisors with local partner organizations, as needed

About the Position:
We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and contribute to a global IT team focused on providing support and solutions. As part of a Global IT Team, you will be
Assisting in Maintaining Hardware Equipment
Collecting and Analyzing Network Data & Security Status.
Contribute ideas and finding new ways to innovate using New Technologies.
Test IT product and solution.
Also, you will be supporting end users in our fast-paced Design Studio, supporting applications such as Autodesk Revit , AutoCAD , Adobe InDesign , Bluebeam and many other applications.
Minimal Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in undergraduate school with an upcoming completion of an associates / bachelor's degree in Information Technology related studies.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills
Ability to multi-task multiple tickets and issues.
Good analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
Competent with Microsoft Products including Office, Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
Create and maintain Windows Operating Systems.
Once you are here:
Learn to Collaborate with the IT team in maintenance of Hardware, software and other systems.
Configure, assemble, and install workstation and/or peripheral equipment.
Learn to Understand and Navigate Microsoft Server Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
Experience the fundamentals of Network Configuration & Security Controls.
Help maintain inventory of IT Assets and Supplies.
