GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Performs highly complex (senior-level) work involving coordination and the direct performance of activities associated with installing, repairing, monitoring, analyzing the use of, and troubleshooting complex problems with, information technology systems used at the assigned high security correctional facility for juveniles such as a local area network and wide area network (LAN and WAN), and other Information Technology (IT) related technology. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provides technical support for agency employees and other end users to ensure that work requests and needs are appropriately addressed, documented and resolved in a timely fashion.
Provides user support and training to staff for use of PC, laptops, projectors, printers, phones, DVR, videoconference and other IT business related technology.
Coordinates with facility IT lead to ensure standard configuration, deployment and repair of IT related technology.
Assists with maintaining communication and network security, including network logons, and reports any communication/network security violations; providing information regarding availability of assigned LAN/WAN/Security system; and ensuring proper disposal and documentation of agency hard drives and related media.
Assists in the development of solutions and aids in researching and resolving escalated problems, which may include the most complex and/or critical technical problems.
Assists with performing updates on inventory records for technology equipment at assigned sites, including all IT infrastructure as well as equipment issued to staff.
Reports any presence or perception of racial, ethnic, and/or gender disparities.

RWE Clean Energy, LLC To start as soon as possible, full time, permanent Functional area: Operations & Maintenance Remuneration: Non-Exempt As Wind Farm Technician Associate you support the overall operations and maintenance of one or more wind farms and all related facilities to assure safety and maximize availability in accordance with Operations mission. This role is responsible for safe execution of scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and repair activities, training, and safety exercises. This job also maintains accountability and readiness of plant tools, equipment, and vehicles; provides technical guidance to the O&M team; tracks, and maintains records of service activities both scheduled and unscheduled through the digital maintenance management system; and helps maintain the work ethic and culture of the plant O&M team.
Role Responsibilities:
* Assure that all operation and maintenance activities are performed in a safe manner consistent with policies and procedures established for the wind farm site
* Assist in conducting acceptance and performance tests on systems and equipment following planned maintenance or outages
* Perform safety and other wind farm related tasks when assigned and fill in as back up to personnel at other RWE sites when necessary
* Assist with turbine maintenance including services, major component work and replacement, and troubleshooting
* Assist with Balance of Plant procedures as needed, including substation and collection system maintenance
* Adherence to the company's values and behaviors
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager
Job Requirements and Experiences:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in Sciences or related field from an accredited school preferred
* A minimum of 2 years of work experience in operations and/or maintenance in power generation, transmission, and/or distribution required, with at least 1 year of experience in wind turbine experience preferred
* A degree from an accredited institution (excluding correspondence or online programs) can substitute for 2 years of experience if it meets the following criteria: 2-year or 4-year degree, a field of study in technical sciences, such as Engineering, Physics, Power Systems, or closely related disciplines
* The following credentials can substitute for 1 year of experience: Current Journeyman License, Current Master Electrician License, Wind Technician Certification
* Military experience in a technical field (electrical, electronics, or mechanical) preferred
* License or Certification experience substitutions include Current Journeyman, Current Master Electrician License, and Wind Tech Certificate preferred
* A valid unrestricted driver's license in good standing is required
* Willing to relocate to within 1 hour drive of the site is required
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to maintain a personal weight limitation of 270 lbs.
* Must be able to climb wind towers daily. During this task, employees must be able to open/close hatch doors and identify potential safety hazards
