Job Description
This is a
Computer Field Technician Position
doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. To be successful in this position,
you must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware.
Job Details:
This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-4 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES
Guest/Client Assistance:
Assist clients with setting up name badges and making copies.
Assist guests with beverages and snacks, ensuring a pleasant experience.
Provide transportation services as needed, including arranging cabs, Lyft, etc.
Inventory Management:
Stock coolers, snack racks, and storage closets, ensuring items are rotated using FIFO (First In, First Out).
Order supplies as needed, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
Maintain adequate supplies of food, beverages, and other necessities, monitoring inventory for freshness and recording inventory levels.
Event Coordination:
Monitor the event calendar, plan event needs in advance, and ensure all necessary staff are scheduled.
Ensure all meals are set on time and communicate any changes to the caterers and clients.
Responsible for setting up and maintaining digital signage/logos for each event, ensuring proper operation and visual placement.
Assist clients in directing the flow of lab and lecture activities.
Vendor and Client Relations:
Contact outside vendors as necessary, following proper approval procedures.
Maintain professional and courteous communication with clients via email and phone, ensuring effective business relationships.
Work directly with others to anticipate and meet their event needs, recognizing any special requirements in advance.
Facility Management:
Ensure coffee supplies are fresh, fully stocked, and the area is clean.
Perform light housekeeping duties, such as wiping down counters with sanitizer.
Ensure awareness and compliance with standard operating procedures and safety policies.
Print and obtain signatures on facility/client waivers.
Team Coordination:
Delegate tasks effectively to promote a team-oriented environment.
Work independently to organize and prioritize tasks, analyze, and troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
Ensure all staff are updated regarding meal times and any client-requested changes.
Professional Conduct:
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times when interacting with Viticus Group staff and clients.
Adhere to the general policies and procedures of the Oquendo and Eastern Centers.
Marketing:
Assist with general help and support as needed/requested.
Assist and collect or analyze data to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
Transportation:
Assist transportation logistics for events and participants.
Assist with scheduling and dispatching drivers.
General Support:
Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
Assist with event planning and execution, including setup and breakdown.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.

About The Navys Advanced Electronics / Computer Field (AECF) offers extensive training in electronics, computer systems, radar, communications, and weapons fire control systems, including the Navys advanced missile systems and Aegis radar. These technicians are essential to the ships Combat Systems department, ensuring readiness for combat operations across the fleet.
Responsibilities
As an Electronics Technician (ET) or Fire Controlman (FC), you may:
Maintain and repair radar, communication, and navigation equipment.
Operate, maintain, and repair fire control radars, mainframe computers, large screen displays, LANs, weapon control consoles, and automatic gun systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems used in weapons systems.
Support combat systems readiness aboard aircraft carriers, Aegis cruisers, and other surface ships.
Work Environment
ETs and FCs serve on fleet units worldwide and at shore-based repair facilities. Expect assignments aboard ships, at remote stations, and in technical repair shops. Work is highly technical, requiring precision and teamwork.
