Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and existing Remote Support and Field Service Engineers, addressing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
* Facilitate training through multiple formats including:
* In-person classroom and hands-on sessions

* Self-paced e-learning modules and simulations
* Collaborate with engineering, product management, and service teams to ensure training content reflects current technologies and field realities.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Electronics, or a related technical field; or equivalent hands-on experience.
* 3+ years of experience in field service, technical training, or equipment support.
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software systems relevant to the service environment.
* Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging training content.
* Excellent learning facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Experience managing and building content on Learning Management Systems (LMS), instructional design tools, and virtual training platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex).
Preferred Skills:
* Prior experience training field service teams in a regulated or high-tech industry (e.g., medical devices, lab automation, industrial equipment).
* Certification in instructional design or training (e.g., ATD, CPTD certificate or Adult Learning degree).

What you will do:
As a Senior Technical Instructor - Partner Enablement, you will play a key role in developing and delivering engaging, hands-on learning experiences that help Red Hat's partners build technical confidence and drive customer impact.
You will facilitate advanced technical training on Red Hat's portfolio - particularly OpenShift Virtualization and other high-priority emerging technologies - and help partners apply these solutions in real-world customer scenarios.
You'll also contribute to the design and evolution of Red Hat's partner learning content, ensuring it remains relevant, scalable, and closely aligned to go-to-market priorities and ecosystem needs.
What you will bring:
Deliver high-quality, advanced technical instruction on Red Hat technologies - with an emphasis on OpenShift Virtualization and other strategic growth areas as technology trends evolve.
Design and refine training workshops in collaboration with Portfolio, Product, and Ecosystem GTM teams to ensure alignment with business priorities.
Translate complex technical topics into clear, practical learning experiences for diverse partner audiences.
Design and refine training workshops in collaboration with strategic Ecosystem partners to ensure alignment with co-Creation and co-Selling motions.
Leverage post-session feedback, NPS, and readiness metrics to continuously improve content relevance and instructional effectiveness.
Convert in-person or workshop content into scalable modular formats (virtual ILT, e-learning, or micro-learning) for broader delivery through Red Hat Learning and partner platforms.
Collaborate with Technical Learning, Ecosystem GTM, and Partner Marketing teams to align technical enablement with partner engagement and specialization strategies.
Build relationships with field, product, and ecosystem stakeholders to understand emerging skill needs and proactively evolve course content.
Model Red Hat's open culture - fostering collaboration, inclusion, and a shared sense of purpose across field and partner learning communities.
Skills Needed
Proven experience facilitating instructor-led technical learning, ideally for partner or customer audiences in enterprise technology.
Strong grasp of Red Hat's portfolio, particularly OpenShift, RHEL, Automation, and emerging technologies such as AI. A VMware background is desirable.
Expertise in instructional design and delivery methodologies for technical and blended learning.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and storytelling skills; able to simplify complexity and inspire confidence.
Ability and willingness to explore, use and include AI tools in the whole process of creation, delivery and maintenance of learning assets.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams.
Strong existing connection with stakeholders in the Red Hat Partner organization and the Red Hat Ecosystem.
Experience managing enablement programs and projects in a matrixed global environment.
Familiarity with learning management and enablement platforms.
Familiarity with planning frameworks (Product management) and reporting.
Experience designing or curating content for the partner ecosystem is a strong plus.
A second language in addition to fluent English is desirable.
30% travel .
While this position is noted as US remote NC, it is open to any remote US associates.

The salary range for this position is $97,300.00 - $155,670.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
